Ik zal beginnen met de topcoat van Entity: Dit vind ik een hele fijne topcoat. Je ziet het aan de foto er zit maar een klein beetje in het flesje. Deze topcoat geeft een mooi glanzend toplaagje dat niet te dik is. Het wordt ook niet dik tijdens gebruik, zo vervelend als je lak of topcoat dik en stroperig wordt. Het fijne aan deze topcoat is dat mijn nagellak toch wel 4-5 dagen blijft zitten zonder te beschadigen. Tot nu toe heb ik dit bij geen andere topcoat gehad, terwijl ik toch ook de huishoudelijke klusjes doe. Het nadeel van deze topcoat is, als je steentjes op je nagels plakt dat die er zo weer van af vallen. Wat de exacte prijs is weet ik niet precies, ik heb het flesje kado gehad bij een manicure cursus. Ik schat het op € 6,- plus minus. Entity kun je over het algemeen alleen bij de nagelgroothandels/webwinkels kopen.

Today i'm reviewing five topcoats. For readers who don't know what a topcoat is: a topcoat is a shiny transparent polish that you can apply on top of your nailpolish. The topcoat gives your nailpolish a shiny coat and it protects your nailpolish from chipping. Like nailpolish topcoats come from several brands with a wide range of prices.
I will be starting with the topcoat from Entity. I love this topcoat, as u can see from the pic. There's a small bit left in the bottle. Entity topcoat gives your nailpolish a beautiful shine without being too thick. The substance doesn't get thick even after using it for a couple of months. I hate that in a polish or topcoat. My nailpolish last four to five days after applying Entity topcoat even after doing my household shores. Whats not so great about this, when you apply rhinestones they fall off very quick. Still this is my favourite topcoat. The price will be about

Essence gel-look topcoat: dit vind ik geen fijne topcoat. Het is te dik van substantie en droogt daarom niet snel. Een van de pluspunten van een top coat moet zijn dat het sneldrogend is. Ik wil in ieder geval niet nog een kwartier met "natte" nagels zitten wachten. Helaas voldoet deze topcoat niet aan deze eis. Het geeft wel een mooie glans aan de nagels, helaas heb ik daar geen foto van. Deze topcoat kost tussen de € 2,00 en € 3,00 bij het kruidvat.

Essence gel-look topcoat: Certainly not a favourite of mine. The substance is much too thick to be quick drying. In my opinion a topcoat needs to be quick drying, i don't want to wait yet another 20 minutes to get my nails to dry. On the positive side this topcoat gives a beautiful shine though. Too bad i don't have a pic of that. The price of the gel-look topcoat is between € 2,00 and € 3,00 at my local drugstore.
De Maybelline Express Finish (dry in 40 seconds) heb ik pas aangeschaft en 2 keer gebruikt. Ik ben positief over deze topcoat, het droogt heel snel (weet niet zeker op het idd ook in 40 sec droogt) en het zorgt voor een redelijk mooie glans op je nagels. Of het mijn nagellak ook heel goed beschermd waardoor mijn nagellak langer blijft zitten, dat weet ik nu nog niet. Hiervoor gebruik ik het nog te kort. Deze topcoat kost € 8,95 bij Etos. Eerlijk gezegd vind ik het een dure top coat.

The Maybelline Express Finish (dry in 40 seconds) i recently purchased and i used it about two times now. Even though i haven't used it much i am positive about this topcoat. It is very fast drying, not sure if it dries within 40 seconds ;), and it gives a nice shine to the nails. Because of the short period i'm using it now, i can't say if it protects my nailpolish from chipping. I payed € 8,95 for the Maybelline Express Finish to me this is an expensive topcoat.

Essence quick dry topcoat: Helaas geen quick dry, het toplaagje droogt misschien snel maar de topcoat blijft vrij lang zacht. In mijn ogen geen succes want ik wil zeker geen half uur of langer wachten tot mijn topcoat droog is. Ook dit is een goedkope topcoat, ik denk dat het ook ergens tussen de € 2,00 en € 3,00 zit, qua prijs.

Essence quick dry topcoat:No this is not a quick drying topcoat either. The top layer maybe seems to be drying quick but the topcoat stays soft for a long time. Not my type of topcoat i don't want to wait another 30 minutes for my nails to dry. The positive side is, that this also an inexpensive topcoat it costs about € 2,00 or € 3,00. So if you have the time.. go ahead.

Mijn laatste review gaat over de Out the door topcoat van INM. Deze topcoat heb ik ongeveer 1 jaar gebruikt voordat ik overstapte naar Entity. Heel veel nagellakliefhebbers en Nailartists kennen deze topcoat wel. Ik denk dat het een van de populairste topcoats is. Ik ben ook heel erg tevreden over deze topcoat, het droogt supersnel en geeft een mooie glans. Wat ik minder vind aan Out the door is dat het na een tijdje (misschien een maand of 2) dik en stroperig wordt. Dan heb je echt wel een nagellak verdunner nodig om het weer dun te krijgen. Dit is me al twee keer overkomen. Ik vind deze topcoat vooral geschikt als je steentjes of ander "bumpy items" op je nagels plakt. Bij andere topcoats vliegen de steentjes, bij wijze van spreken, zo van mijn nagels af, niet bij Out the door. De Out the door van INM kost ongeveer € 7,95 en is te krijgen bij de nagelgroothandel of nagelwebshop. Helaas heb ik geen foto van de Out the door top coat.

My last review is about the Out the door topcoat by INM. I used this topcoat for about one year before i went over to use the Entity topcoat. Lots of nailpolish lovers and nail artists are familiar with this top coat. I think it's one of the most popular topcoats. I too love Out the door, it dries in an instant and it gives a beautiful shine. The one thing i don't like about this topcoat is that it thickens after a month or two. After two months you need some nail polish thinner to keep it fluid. It happened to me twice. This topcoat is in particular great when you apply rhinestones or other bumpy stuff on your nails. It keeps them in their place, no doubt about it. The price of Out the door by INM is about € 7,95 you can order it online or buy it at your nailproducts supplier.
