N.O.T.D. Miss Sporty
Todays N.o.t.d.is a beautiful blue colour by Miss Sporty. Unfortanetely i can't tell you the number of the nailpolish . I couldn't read the number. When i removed the sticker for theft prevention, it removed the number too.
I actually love this blue ( a bit metallic) colour. The colour is in between a cobalt and a navy blue and it's from the Lasting Colour line from Miss Sporty. Miss Sporty has affordable makeup and nailpolishes. The price was about € 3,-.

Review: Bdellium Tools makeup kwasten/Bdellium Tools makeup brushes
Een paar weken geleden heb ik vier kwasten (en een vijfde) van het merk Bdellium tools toegezonden gekregen via http://www.ulalabeauty.com/bdellium-tools/ . Vandaag kun je mijn review over de makeup kwasten van Bdellium tools, lezen
Ik heb de kwasten twee weken (met veel plezier) gebruikt, om ze goed te kunnen beoordelen. De makeup kwasten van Bdellium tools zijn gemaakt van synthetisch materiaal en bewerkt met een antibacteriele laag. Je moet de kwasten, ondanks die laag, natuurlijk wel regelmatig reinigen. Voor zover ik weet, is Bdellium tools het enige merk dat zijn makeup kwasten met een antibacteriële laag bewerkt.

A few weeks ago, http://www.ulalabeauty.com/bdellium-tools/ sent me four brushes (and a fifth one) by the brand Bdellium tools. I have been using these makeup brushes on a regular base over the past fourteen days. Today i will give you my review on these brushes.
Bdellium tools makeup brushes are made of synthetic fibers. What's special about these brushes is that they have an antibacterial coating. To my knowledge Bdellium Tools is the only company that has brushes with an antbacterial coating.
Mijn favoriet is de 957 Precision Kabuki. Deze kabuki kwast heeft in het midden langere haren. Deze haren zijn stevig genoeg om dagcréme, foundation of BB cream goed te verdelen en te blenden. Het voordeel van dit type kwast is, dat het product wordt verdeeld zonder teveel druk op de huid te veroorzaken. Ik gebruik de 957 voor het aanbrengen van mijn dagcréme, primer (Benefit Porefessional) en mijn BB cream. Ik gebruik het ook om mijn concealer lichtjes in te blenden. Na het reinigen is de Precision Kabuki vrij snel droog. Een nadeel is dat deze kwast een beetje verhaart. Dit is echt een hele fijne en goede makeupkwast, een aanrader.

I use the 957 for applying moisturizer, primer and BB cream. The long white bristles are dense and soft and perfect for blending. The 957 Precision Kabuki doesn't put any pressure on my skin, while i move it back and forth. To much pressure can cause wrinkles and that's not what i want. I even use it to blend in my concealer. This brush is my favourite of the four, it's something i can't do without. I can highly recommend the 957 Precision Kabuki to you.
Bdellium tools 955 Finishing kwast. Op de verpakking staat aangegeven dat je deze kwast kunt gebruiken voor het aanbrengen van poeder of foundation op waterbasis. De Bdellium tools 955 Finishing heeft een combinatie van synthetische en natuurlijke vezels. Ik heb het één keer gebruikt voor het aanbrengen van poeder en eerlijk gezegd gebruik ik voor het poederen liefst een grote poederkwast. Ik vind het fijn als de poeder lichtjes wordt verdeeld over mijn gezicht. Deze makeup kwast is iets te vol en te stevig hiervoor. Geen nood want ik gebruik het om blusher aan te brengen. Met deze kwast wordt de blush gelijkmatig over mijn wangen verdeeld, zodat het aanbrengen van meerdere lagen blush niet nodig is. Wat ik wel een nadeel vind, deze kwast heeft een lange droogtijd. Het duurt zeker acht tot tien uur tot het helemaal droog is. Al met al is dit ook een fijne kwast.

This brush i used only once for applying loose powder. I find the Bdellium tools 955 Finishing brush is too dense for applying powder. I like my powder brush to be fluffy, so i don't get a thick layer of powder on my face. Now I use the 955 to apply blusher and it does the job good. It applies the blush evenly, now i don't need to put more than one layer of blush on my cheeks. Overall the 955 is a great brush. The only downside is, that it takes a long time to dry, about eight to ten hours.
Bdellium tools 776 blending kwast. Volgens velen een kopie van de Mac 217, die ik overigens ook bezit. Ze lijken inderdaad wel op elkaar het voordeel is, dat deze kwast een stuk betaalbaarder is. Een prima kwast om je oogschaduw te blenden. Ik gebruik het om mijn oogschaduw primer aan te brengen. Door de structuur van de kwast wordt de primer evenredig over het ooglid verdeeld. Hierdoor heb ik minder primer nodig, het andere voordeel is dat inkloppen niet meer nodig is. Het inkloppen kan, als dat te ruw gebeurt, voor verschuiving van de huid zorgen. Dit kan tot rimpels leiden. De Bdellium tools 776 blending kwast is ook geschikt om créme oogschaduw (paint pots/color tattoos) aan te brengen. Een prima kwast die snel droog is na het reinigen.

I use mine to apply eyeshadow primer. The structure of the brush makes it easy to apply the product evenly. I think the 776 is a great brush for applying cream products, such as the Paintpots and Color tattoos. The 776 dries up very quickly after cleaning.
Bdellium tools 766 angeled oogschaduw kwast. Deze oogschaduwkwast is heel geschikt om bijvoorbeeld een smokey eye te "shapen". Doordat de kwast aan de zijkant schuin afloopt, kun je er perfect mee schaduwen. Bijvoorbeeld in de buitenste ooghoek. Ook over de 766 angeled oogschaduw kwast kan ik een positief oordeel geven.

Wedge van Mac heb ik als basiskleur gebruikt. dit heb vanaf het ooglid tot halverwege het wenbrauwbeen aangebracht.
First i applied Wedge from Mac on the eyelid to halfway the browbone.
In de binnenste ooghoek tot halverwege het ooglid, heb ik de lichtste kleur van het pallet gebruikt. Een zacht goudgroene kleur .
Then i applied the green/gold eyeshadow in the innercorner up to halfway my eyelid.
Vanaf de buitenkant van mijn ooglid tot het midden en overgaand in de arcadeboog, heb ik de bruin/groene kleur aangebracht.

In de buitenste ooghoek heb ik de grijsgroene kleur aangebracht, dit om diepte te creëren. Dit is ook de donkerste oogschaduwkleur van het pallet.

Zo zien beide ogen er nu uit.

De look zonder mascara en eyeliner. De grijsgroene kleur heb ik met een eyelinerkwastje tot halverwege mijn onderste ooglid aangebracht. vanaf de binenste ooghoek tot halverwege het onderste ooglid, heb ik de goudgroene kleur aangebracht.

N.O.T.D. Polka.com (Opi) and Butler please (Essie)
Mijn n.o.t.d. staat in het teken van de kleur blauw. Vorige week heb ik Polka.com van Opi's euro centrale lijn gekocht. Het ziet er prachtig uit in het flesje maar alleen aangebracht, op ongelakte nagels, is het niet zo'n succes. Je hebt echt een basiskleur nodig om een mooi effect te krijgen. Daarom heb ik Butler please van Essie als basiskleur gebruikt, hierdoor komt het effect van Polka.com veel beter uit.
Polka.com bevat fuchsia, paarse en lichtgevend blauwe glitters. Met een mooie basiskleur kun je pas echt van het effect genieten. De combinatie van Butler please en polka.com is echt supermooi. Mijn idee is dat polka.com het mooiste staat bovenop een donkere (liefst blauwe) kleur nagellak.

Today's n.o.t.d. is all about blue. I recently bought Opi's Polka.com (from the eurocentrale line). I thought it would be an opaque glitter polish (like the China glaze Prismatics) but i was wrong. Although i like the combination of fuchsia, purple and iridescent blue flakes, without a basepolish you won't be able to enjoy the full effect. For the pictures i first applied Butler please by Essie and on top i applied Polka.com. I think this combination is just beautiful. The glitters makes the cobalt blue come out so much better. On it's own Butler please can be a bit dull looking. So no money wasted here ;-).
Polka.com bevat fuchsia, paarse en lichtgevend blauwe glitters. Met een mooie basiskleur kun je pas echt van het effect genieten. De combinatie van Butler please en polka.com is echt supermooi. Mijn idee is dat polka.com het mooiste staat bovenop een donkere (liefst blauwe) kleur nagellak.

Today's n.o.t.d. is all about blue. I recently bought Opi's Polka.com (from the eurocentrale line). I thought it would be an opaque glitter polish (like the China glaze Prismatics) but i was wrong. Although i like the combination of fuchsia, purple and iridescent blue flakes, without a basepolish you won't be able to enjoy the full effect. For the pictures i first applied Butler please by Essie and on top i applied Polka.com. I think this combination is just beautiful. The glitters makes the cobalt blue come out so much better. On it's own Butler please can be a bit dull looking. So no money wasted here ;-).

Bdelliumtools brushes from www.ula-la-beauty.com
Last week i received a package from Ula-la-beauty.com. The company has sent me four make up brushes, from the brand Bdellium tools. I wanted to try Bdellium tools brushes for quite a while, i heard many positive things about this brand. Bdellium tools brushes are professional, affordable and they have an antibacterial coating.

The brushes came in a solid black cardboard box. Each brush is separately packed in a plastic sleeve. The brushes were bundled in a nice transparent black pouch. All brushes have long yellow bamboo handles.

776 tapered eyeshadow brush
This brush looks a bit like the Mac 217. Synthetic brushes are perfect for applying cream eyeshadows such as the color tattoos or paint pot's.
766 angeled eyeshadow brush
This brush is perfect for shaping and just like the other brushes, it feels very soft.
I'm going to try these brushes and in a few weeks i will give you a review on my experiences.

Mac Archies Girls (sugar sugar)
Haha aanstaande zaterdag is het zover dan is Mac's Archies Girls ook in Nederland verkrijgbaar. Ik kijk hier al een jaar naar uit, grappig want ik ben niet zo'n limited edition fan. Maar zaterdag is het zover op naar de Maccounter! Kijk jij er ook naar uit?
Ik heb mijn lijstje al klaar, de Betty lijn spreekt mij het meeste aan. De blusher in Cream Soda, de lipstick in Betty Bright en de lipglass in Kiss and don't tell, staan op mijn lijstje. Wat staat er op jouw lijstje?

I'm so excited over the release of Mac's Archies Girls here in Holland. Coming saturday i will be heading to the Maccounter in Rotterdam to get me some of Archies Girls. From what i have seen on the Internet and Youtube, i will definitley go for the Betty line.
I love the blusher in Cream soda and maybe i will buy a lipstick in Betty Bright, it depends on what will be available. And i hope to get the lipglass in Kiss and don't tell. Do you already have some items from this collection? Let me know what you got and if you like it.
