Het is een hele tijd geleden dat ik een blogpost heb geschreven. Sinds het begin van het jaar is er heel veel verandert in mijn leven, vandaar mijn lange afwezigheid. Vandaag heb ik ik iets moois voor jullie, een lipstick van Kat von D.

 

Het is er één uit haar Studded serie ( die volgens mij vorig jaar op de markt kwam) en het heet Lovecraft. Wat een naam en wat een kleur. Het is de perfect mauve/bruin kleur en het staat geweldig. Deze lipstick staat met stip op 1 want over de kleur ben ik zeer tevreden. Het staat me ook heel goed. Ik denk dat deze kleur op elke huidskleur wel mooi zal staan of je nu blank of donker bent.

 

Tijdens mijn vakantie in de VS heb ik het gekocht bij Sephora. Aan het begin van mijn vakantie heb ik een swatch gedaan en ik vond het ook echt een mooie kleur. Ik heb het niet meteen gekocht omdat ik bang was dat een van de zoveel 90's trend lipstick was. Maar wat ben ik blij dat ik het wel gekocht heb. Mocht je naar de VS gaan dan zou ik je aanraden om eens een swatch te doen. Misschien ga je dan ook om.

It's been a long time since i have written a blogpost, there have been changes in my life and that is mainly the reason. Today i'm back with a beautiful lipstick from Kat von D.

 

The lipstick i am talking about is Lovecraft from the Studded collection. It is an amazingly beautiful colour, very 90's mauve/brown. The colour looks great on me, i don't need a lipliner to bring out the colour. From now on this is my favourite lipstick. I think that this colour would suit every skintone, form light to dark.

Last week i qualified for a certificate.
So this is what i've doing the last months it is also the reason why i haven't been posting fora while.

Mac Noblesse Oblige Pressed Pigment (Heirloom collection)

 

 

Hoi, het is weer even geleden maar vandaag typ ik toch een blogpost. Afgelopen week heb ik een pressed Pigment van Mac besteld. Mijn eerste en het komt uit de Heirloom Collectie. Ik heb Noblesse Oblige gekocht een mooie zilverkleurige oogschaduw.

 

Ik vond het wel toepasselijk voor deze tijd van het jaar, waarin veel glitter past. Omdat ik het nog niet heb gebruikt kan ik niet zeggen hoe het bevalt. De pigmentatie is goed (aan de swatch te zien)  en ik hoop het snel te kunnen gebruiken.

It's been a while but today im putting up a new blogpost. Last i week i ordered my very first Mac pressed pigment. It's from the Mac Heirloom collection. A beautiful silver eyeshadow and the name is Noblesse Oblige.

 

Very suitable for this time of year, the packaging is very sparkly too. I haven't used it yet so i can't tell how the quality is. Judging from the swatch, i think it has a good quality.

Het merk MUA is sinds een paar maanden ook verkrijgbaar bij het Kruidvat. In mijn Kruidvat kwam ik MUA pas een paar weken geleden tegen. MUA is een betaalbaar Engels makeup merk. En ze hebben hele leuke producten o.a. betaalbare oogschaduwpaletjes.

 

Mijn eerste Mua artikel is een lipstick, het was moeilijk kiezen want alle "testers" waren weg. Ik heb er aan de hand van de kleurenkaart, een uitgekozen. Nummer 7 is een heldere koraalroze kleur met wat glans erin. Eigenlijk hou ik  niet zo van de glanslipsticks maar ik vind de glans net genoeg en het doet ook wat voor de kleur. Qua kleur lijkt het wat op Indian Pink van Nyx alleen is het iets meer koraal kleurig.

 

 

Ondanks de lage prijs is de lipstick heel goed gepigmenteerd ondanks dat, moet ik toch een aantal keer per dag de kleur bijwerken. Voor de prijs is het een goede lipstick.

MUA lipstick nr 7 is my first introduction to the brand. Mua makeup is been sold at my local drugstore for a few weeks now. I've seen much beautiful things, such as eyeshadow palettes, bronzers and blushers.

 

Yesterday í decided to buy one of their lipsticks. My choice nr 7 is a lovely pink/coral shade. It has some shimmer in it and i usually don't wear shimmery lipsticks. But in this case the shimmer adds something to the colour and it doesn't make my lips look wrinkly. The colour reminds me of Nyx Indian Pink only this colour has more Coral in it.

 

The pigmentation is really good but i still have to  re-apply. This is a very good product, considering the price.

Een tijdje geleden kwam ik erachter dat Maybelline een nieuw lipproduct op de markt heeft gebracht, de Color Drama lippencils. Ze liggen al een tijdje in de winkel maar ik had ze echt nog niet gezien. Ik ben er altijd  in om een nieuw product te gebruiken en zeker als het om nieuw lipproduct gaat. Vandaar dat ik twee besteld heb en dit zijn ze.

 

Lipstick potloden ik ken ze nog uit de jaren 80, o.a. Avon had ze toen, en ik vond het fijn om ze te gebruiken. Het voordeel van een potlood is dat je heel precies je lipstick kunt aanbrengen, vooral handig als je een opvallende kleur gebruikt. Voor dit type potlood heb je wel een speciale puntenslijper nodig maar die kun je volgens mij bij elke drogist of beautycounter halen.

 

De Color Drama potloden voelen zacht aan en ze zijn mat van kleur, zonder dat ze je lippen uitdrogen. Ik heb alleen Nude perfection gedragen en die beviel heel goed. Ook de kleur stond, heel verbazend, goed en was niet te bleek. Voor mij is dit een perfecte nude, mijn lippen maar net ietsje meer roze. De andere Berry Much ga ik nog uitproberen maar (na een swatch) ik ben ook over deze kleur, heel tevreden.

 

Dit product blijft  heel lang zitten ook na drinken, eten of praten.

Not so long ago i discovered that Maybelline had a new lipproduct out, the Color Drama lippencils. Don't know why i didn't know about them sooner, somehow they escaped from my attention. I love trying out new products, especially lipproducts. That's why i had to order two colours from the range.

Lippencils, i use to have a couple back in the '80s. Avon used to have some and i remember really enjoy using them. One of the benefits of using a lippencil instead of a lipstick, is that you can apply your lipcolour much more accurate. Wich is very handy, especially when you are applying a bold lipcolour. This type of lippencil is not retractable, you need a sharpener to keep the point sharp. You can get one at any drugstore, or beautycounter.

The product itself feels very soft and it is longwearing. I used Nude Perfection and i am totally in love with the product and the colour. The colour is a "my lips but better " kind of tone, wich i love. The Berry much i haven't used yet but after swatching, i'm also in love with this colour.

Hi guys today i'm showing you the look i've made with the Mac Objects of affection gold/beige pigments. I used every colour except the gold glitter. 

 

 

 

 

on the browbone i used Lithe
on my eyelid: English Gilt
in the inner corner and halfway the inner side of the lower lashline: Pretty it up
on the outer corner, halfway the lower lashline and halfway up the crease: Deep Brown
 

 

 

in the crease i used a soft matte brown from the It's Judy Time Palette

Dit jaar heb ik voor het eerst iets uit de feestcollectie van Mac besteld, uit de Objects of Affection lijn. Dit is een lijn met  mini lipglasses en pigments. Je kunt ze per set van 5 bestellen. De prijs valt heel erg mee vooral omdat het allemaal in een hele mooie verpakking zit.

Wat de pigments betreft kun je kiezen uit vier verschillende sets (blauw, roze, bronze, goud). De lipglasses komen in drie verschillende sets. Pigments zijn zeer zuinig in gebruik en omdat ik mijn makeup voornamelijk voor mezelf gebruik, vind ik de mini's een goede keuze. Ik ben heel blij met mijn keuze en ik weet zeker dat ik deze set vaak ga gebruiken.
