Maybelline Color Drama (Nude perfection/Berry much)

Een tijdje geleden kwam ik erachter dat Maybelline een nieuw lipproduct op de markt heeft gebracht, de Color Drama lippencils. Ze liggen al een tijdje in de winkel maar ik had ze echt nog niet gezien. Ik ben er altijd  in om een nieuw product te gebruiken en zeker als het om nieuw lipproduct gaat. Vandaar dat ik twee besteld heb en dit zijn ze.

 

Lipstick potloden ik ken ze nog uit de jaren 80, o.a. Avon had ze toen, en ik vond het fijn om ze te gebruiken. Het voordeel van een potlood is dat je heel precies je lipstick kunt aanbrengen, vooral handig als je een opvallende kleur gebruikt. Voor dit type potlood heb je wel een speciale puntenslijper nodig maar die kun je volgens mij bij elke drogist of beautycounter halen.

 

De Color Drama potloden voelen zacht aan en ze zijn mat van kleur, zonder dat ze je lippen uitdrogen. Ik heb alleen Nude perfection gedragen en die beviel heel goed. Ook de kleur stond, heel verbazend, goed en was niet te bleek. Voor mij is dit een perfecte nude, mijn lippen maar net ietsje meer roze. De andere Berry Much ga ik nog uitproberen maar (na een swatch) ik ben ook over deze kleur, heel tevreden.

 

Dit product blijft  heel lang zitten ook na drinken, eten of praten.

Not so long ago i discovered that Maybelline had a new lipproduct out, the Color Drama lippencils. Don't know why i didn't know about them sooner, somehow they escaped from my attention. I love trying out new products, especially lipproducts. That's why i had to order two colours from the range.

Lippencils, i use to have a couple back in the '80s. Avon used to have some and i remember really enjoy using them. One of the benefits of using a lippencil instead of a lipstick, is that you can apply your lipcolour much more accurate. Wich is very handy, especially when you are applying a bold lipcolour. This type of lippencil is not retractable, you need a sharpener to keep the point sharp. You can get one at any drugstore, or beautycounter.

The product itself feels very soft and it is longwearing. I used Nude Perfection and i am totally in love with the product and the colour. The colour is a "my lips but better " kind of tone, wich i love. The Berry much i haven't used yet but after swatching, i'm also in love with this colour.

Maybelline Colorsensational Vivids



Gisteravond was het makeup koopavond bij het Kruidvat. Het tweede produkt was gratis, ik hoop dat jullie er gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Alhoewel ik niets nodig had besloot ik toch even te gaan kijken want ik was toch in de buurt. Het was redelijk druk dus besloot ik snel weg te gaan. Ondanks de drukte heb ik toch twee produkten kunnen uitkiezen, één van die produkten is een van de Colorsensational Vivids lipsticks van Maybelline. Ik heb gekozen voor nummer 902 Fuchsia Flash. Een prachtige fuchsia roze. Ik heb het nog niet opgedaan dus kan ik niet zeggen of deze lipstick goed gepigmenteerd is. Tijdens mijn vakantie heb ik al een lipstick van deze serie gekocht. Het is nummer 905 Brazen Berry een prachtige paarse berry kleur. Deze kleur is erg goed gepigmenteerd en is echt één van mijn favorieten van dit najaar.

Yesterday i went makeupshopping, my local drugstore had a great makupsale. 50% off the second makeup item. I wasn't really in need of something but i decided to go and take a look, as i was in the neighborhood anyway. Needless to say that it was crowded, that's why i decided to leave early. Despite the crowd i managed to purchase two items, one of these items is a Maybelline Colorsensational Vivid lipstick. I chose number 902 Fuchsia Flash a beautiful fuchsia colour. I have a thing for fuchsia lipsticks lately. I haven't tried the colour yet so i hope that it's pigmented. I already have one colorsensational lipstick and it's number 905 Brazen Berry. This colour is one of my favourites of this fall. A beautiful purple/berry tone, that's very pigmented. I have worn it plenty times since i bought it.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Everlasting Navy

Ik vind het altijd leuk om even het Kruidvat in te lopen en tussen de makeup te snuffelen. Gewoon om te zien of er nieuwe produkten zijn of om iets leuks/moois te vinden. Afgelopen week kwam ik iets leuks tegen, een nieuwe kleur in de Color Tattoo lijn van Maybelline. Het is een mooie marineblauwe kleur en een van de nieuwste kleuren uit deze lijn. De kleur heet Everlasting Navy.

Color Tattoos ik ben er echt gek op, je kunt ze alleen gebruiken of als basis voor je oogschaduw. Met de color tattoo als basis blijft je oogschaduw beter zitten. Ze zijn vergelijkbaar met de paintpots van Mac maar dan iets betaalbaarder. Deze nieuwe kleur past precies in mijn straatje, ik ben gek op blauwe oogschaduw. Ik ga dit gebruiken samen met mijn Zoeva oogschaduwpigment in de kleur Deja Blue. Dat lijkt me een prachtige combinatie. Ik heb  een swatch voor jullie gemaakt, zie de foto. De kleur is echt heel mooi, het heeft iets parelmoer-achtig. Het wordt tijd dat Maybelline een matte naturelkleurige Color Tattoo maakt, dat zou echt geweldig zijn.

I love strolling around in the drugstore to see whats new and this time i stumbled onto something really pretty. It's one of the newest colours of the Maybelline Color Tattoos line. The colour is navyblue and it's called Everlasting Navy.

Ever since the color tattoos came out i'm a big fan of them. Color Tattoos can be used on their own or as a base for your eyeshadow. You can compare them with Mac Paintpots, but less expensive. This new colour is right up my alley, i love blue eyeshadow. I'm going to combine this with my Zoeva eyeshadow pigment in Deja Blue, that will be a lovely combination. The colour is beautiful, look at the swatch. I'm so looking forward to the first matte neutral color tattoo.
