Maybelline Colorsensational Vivids



Gisteravond was het makeup koopavond bij het Kruidvat. Het tweede produkt was gratis, ik hoop dat jullie er gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Alhoewel ik niets nodig had besloot ik toch even te gaan kijken want ik was toch in de buurt. Het was redelijk druk dus besloot ik snel weg te gaan. Ondanks de drukte heb ik toch twee produkten kunnen uitkiezen, één van die produkten is een van de Colorsensational Vivids lipsticks van Maybelline. Ik heb gekozen voor nummer 902 Fuchsia Flash. Een prachtige fuchsia roze. Ik heb het nog niet opgedaan dus kan ik niet zeggen of deze lipstick goed gepigmenteerd is. Tijdens mijn vakantie heb ik al een lipstick van deze serie gekocht. Het is nummer 905 Brazen Berry een prachtige paarse berry kleur. Deze kleur is erg goed gepigmenteerd en is echt één van mijn favorieten van dit najaar.

Yesterday i went makeupshopping, my local drugstore had a great makupsale. 50% off the second makeup item. I wasn't really in need of something but i decided to go and take a look, as i was in the neighborhood anyway. Needless to say that it was crowded, that's why i decided to leave early. Despite the crowd i managed to purchase two items, one of these items is a Maybelline Colorsensational Vivid lipstick. I chose number 902 Fuchsia Flash a beautiful fuchsia colour. I have a thing for fuchsia lipsticks lately. I haven't tried the colour yet so i hope that it's pigmented. I already have one colorsensational lipstick and it's number 905 Brazen Berry. This colour is one of my favourites of this fall. A beautiful purple/berry tone, that's very pigmented. I have worn it plenty times since i bought it.

N.O.T.D. Opi Chic from head to toe



Vandaag heb ik zin in een fris en lief roze kleurtje op mijn nagels. Ik heb gekozen voor Chic from head to toe van Opi. Het is een lekker makkelijk kleurtje dat naar mijn mening overal bij past. Ondanks dat deze kleur vrij goed dekt, had ik drie lagen nodig voor een mooi resultaat.

Today's notd is a sweet girly pink colour, it's Chic from head to toe from Opi. This colour goes with everything, in my opinion. Although this nailpolish is quite opaque,i needed three coats for the best result.

N.O.T.D. Wetnwild Megalast I need a refresh-mint

Ik ben gek op nagels lakken, het is altijd leuk om een nieuw kleurtje uit te zoeken. Ondanks het "mooie" weer heb ik gekozen voor een lekker zomers kleurtje. Het heet I need a refresh-mint. Een mint/petrol blauwe kleur van Wetnwild. Ik ben gek op hun Megalast nagellakjes omdat ze van goede kwaliteit zijn en ze zijn heel betaalbaar.  Ik heb twee  lagen opgedaan en ik kreeg een supermooi dekkend resultaat. Niets zomerkleurtje dit is een "heelhetjaardoor" kleurtje.

I love painting my nails, i love choosing a colour for my nails or toes. Today i chose a minty/petrol blue colour bij Wetnwild. It's called I need a refresh-mint a colour most people would wear in summer. But not me the weather is so boring right now, i need something uplifting on my nails. This colour is doing it's job so perfect, i applied two coats and what a great result. I love the Megalast polishes, the quality is good and they are so affordable.

Nyx soft matte lip cream

Tijdens mijn vakantie heb ik een paar nieuwe lipproducten gekocht (oa lipsticks) waaronder deze van Nyx. De soft matte lip cream, ik had er vorig jaar ook een gekocht maar de kleur lag te dicht bij mijn eigen kleur en was dus bijna niet zichtbaar. Nu heb ik een mooie oud-roze kleur (ietwat mauve) en de kleur staat me echt mooi. Zoals de naam al aangeeft heeft het een matte finish. De naam is Milani.

Ik dep het product op mijn lippen zodat het zich vermengt met mijn natuurlijke kleur en het resultaat is fantastisch. Ik heb het dan ook vaak gebruikt echt perfect voor de dagen dat je wel wat kleur wil maar je wilt niet dat het teveel opvalt. Ik weet niet of je dit in Nederland kunt krijgen maar ik vermoed dat je dit wel via webshops kunt kopen. Dit is zeker een aanrader.

Nyx soft matte lip cream

This is one of the lipproducts i bought during my vacation, Nyx soft matte lip cream. Last year i bought one too, but the colour was so close to my natural lipcolour, it was hardly noticeable. I do like matte lipsticks so i wanted to buy another colour. I choose Milani a Mauvey pink colour, that suits me much better. I dab the product on my lips to blend it in with my own lipcolour. I love the result, my lips are coloured but do look natural. This product stays on for a quite a while too, it's definiteley one of my favourite lipproducts.

Hi everyone it's been a while since my last blogpost, i was vacationing in LA that's why i haven't blogged for a while. I had a fantastic vacation and i brought back some goodies from the US. One of them is this beautiful (fall) lipstick from Milani. It's a berry colour with beautiful red undertones, that's the best way i can describe this colour. The name Uptown Mauve doesn't suit the colour at all.

I bought this lipstick at Walgreens, in Las Vegas. I was looking for some new Milani products at Cvs (the one near to my appartment) but they didn't have such a big Milani collection. So i was lucky to run into this colour in Las Vegas.

If you're looking for a vibrant fall lipstick, this is the one i can recommend. Actually this is a colour you can wear whole year through.

N.O.T.D. In the mood for Nude

De zomer is min of meer voorbij, dit merk ik als ik een lakje uitzoek om mijn nagels te lakken. Automatisch ga ik aan de vrolijke kleuren voorbij en kies ik voor een mooie naturel kleur. De afgelopen maanden heb ik alleen vrolijke of felle kleuren op mijn nagels gehad.

Om de herfst in te luiden heb ik voor Nude it van Essence gekozen. Een taupe-achtige naturelkleur, heel erg mooi. Ik heb twee lagen opgedaan voor een mooie dekking. Kwalitatief zijn de nagellakken van Essence echt een hele goede koop.

Now that summer is almost over i find myself looking at the less bright nailpolishcolours. Almost automatica my eyes are searching for the more naturel colours.

Today i've chosen Nude it from Essence. A beautiful somewhat taupe nude. I put on two coats for a beautiful opaque coverage. To me Essence nailpolish are the best of the drugstore nailpolishes.

Olaz Total effects 7 in one

Een paar maanden geleden had Kruidvat een leuke aanbieding, Olaz total effects 7 in one voor
€ 9,95. Normaal kost deze créme €19,95. Omdat ik bijna door mijn serum heen was dacht ik, laat ik een keer iets van een drugstore merk aanschaffen. Het merk Olaz is best bekend, wie kent de anti age-ing reclames niet, en ik weet dat vele jaren geleden de crémes van Olaz als beste uit de bus kwamen. Dus wat hield me tegen?

Olaz Total Effects is een dagcréme en serum in één die in totaal zeven tekenen van veroudering tegengaat. Hier volgt het lijstje:
1 Fijne lijntjes en rimpeltjes worden zichtbaar vermindert
2 Hydratatie voor een zichtbaar stevige huid
3 Reduceert de zichtbaarheid van porién
4 Vermindert zichtbaar ouderdomsvlekken
5 Maakt de huidtextuur egaal
6 Hydratatie voor de droge huid
7 Geeft de huid een zichtbaar gezonde uitstraling.

Ik heb Olaz Total Effects zeker één maand gebruikt maar helaas ben ik niet echt enthousiast. De créme hydrateert niet genoeg waardoor mijn huid dof werd.Tevens heb ik  geen vermindering van pigmentvlekken geconstateerd, of een zichtbare verjonging (alhoewel ik niet echt rimpels heb) of versteviging. Als je huid echt vocht te kort komt dan zou ik zeker voor een andere créme / serum gaan. Dit produkt is bestemd voor vrouwen in de leeftijd van 35 en hoger, over het algemeen hebben de meeste vrouwen uit die leeftijdscategorie een drogere huid (een enkele uitzondering daarbuiten gelaten) dus wat mij betreft had deze créme/serum wel voedender mogen zijn.

A few months ago a bought a new skincare product at the drugstore. Olaz 7 effects in one wich is an anti ageing cream and serum in one. I had just finished my serum and thought i would give this a try.

Olaz Total Effects is a daycream and serum in one, that counteracts the seven signs of ageing skin:
*fine lines and wrinkles are visably reduced
*hydration to  firm the skin
*the visibilaty of large pores will be reduced
*reduces age spots
*smooths the skin texture
*hydration for dry skin
*gives the skin a healthy glow

After i have used it for one month, i can truly say that this product does nothing for my skin. My skin feels dry and totally not moisturized. My skin looks very dull and not healthy at all. Age spots are still visible and i haven't noticed an extra firmness of the skin. This product is intended for the agegroup 35 plus and up. Most women in that age category have dry skin (there are exceptions i know). that's why i expected this product to hydrate my skin.Too bad it didn't.  If you're in need of a good moisturizer,i certainly would not recommend Olaz Total Effects.

Review: Vaseline Spray & Go body moisturizer (aloe fresh)

Eind vorige maand heb ik een flacon van Vaseline Spray and Go in mijn Beautybox ontvangen. Natuurlijk was ik hier blij mee want ik had er al veel over gehoord, (Youtube en div. beautyblogs) daarom wilde ik dit produkt eens proberen.  Normaal gesproken gebruik ik al de bodylotion van Vaseline mijn huid is zomer en winter erg droog daarom heb ik altijd een bodylotion nodig. Met een gewone fles bodylotion (zonder pompje) wil ik nog wel een teveel gebruiken, een sprayflacon leek me daarom ook ideaal.

Ik heb de Vaseline Spray & Go ( Aloe fresh) nu een paar dagen gebruikt en ik ben er best tevreden over. Erg handig om gericht te sprayen zo voorkom je dikke klodders bodylotion, die moeilijk uit te smeren zijn. Het produkt is erg fijn er komt precies genoeg uit de spray en het is ook heel makkelijk te verdelen over de huid. Mijn probleem is, door mijn erg droge huid, dat ik dit in de winter niet kan gebruiken. 's Winters is mijn huid nog drogen dan heb ik echt een volle lotion nodig. Dat is wel jammer maar voorlopig kan ik hiermee wel vooruit.

De Spray & Go body moisturizer smeert heel goed uit en laat geen film na op de huid. En de geur is echt heerlijk, het ruikt lekker fris. Ik ben er heel tevreden mee.

My review about Vaseline Spray & Go body moisturizer. I received this product in my Beautybox of August, wich was a pleasant surprise. I already heard so much about this product through Youtube and other Beautybloggers, so i was really curious about it. I'm familiar with the Vaseline bodylotions (cocoa hmm delicious) as i use them daily. That's why i wanted to know how great this product exactly was.

I have been using it for a couple of days now and i can tell you that i'm quite positive about it. The product itself is light and very easy to apply. It doesn't leave a film on the skin and i love the fresh scent of it.  I love this spray, the only downside for me is, that i can't use it in winter. I need a richer bodylotion in winter, to moisturize my skin. But other than that, this is a great product.

N.O.T.D Green Hema nailpolish/Hema nagellak in de kleur groen

Mijn N.O.T.D vandaag is een frisse groene kleur van de Hema. De lak is van goede kwaliteit en is makkelijk aan te brengen. Ik heb twee lagen aangebracht, het fijne is dat de lak niet streperig wordt. Er zit een heel klein beetje glans in de lak, dit zorgt voor een mooi effect. Dit wordt mijn favoriete groene kleur. Het nummer is 841.

Today i'm wearing a nailpolish in a fresh green colour. It's from the brand Hema, Hema is a wellknown warehouse in Holland. I love the quality, the polish is easy to apply. It's also non streaky. This nailpolish has a bit of a sheen wich looks very pretty. I'm wearing two coats. This is going to be my favourite Green nailpolish. The number of the nailpolish is 841.

Essence long lasting lipstick

Vandaag review ik èèn van de Essence longlasting lipsticks. Deze lipsticks liggen alweer een paar weken in de winkel en ze zijn onderdeel van een aantal nieuwe producten die door  Essence uitgebracht zijn.

Ik heb er èèn gekocht een mooie felroze kleur die me een beetje aan de Viva glam Nikki doet denken. De kleur is 08 Colour crush een kleur die echt mooi staat. Het is vrij fel maar toch draagbaar. Er zijn in totaal 10 verschillende kleuren en ik denk dat ik er nog een paar ga kopen.

Wat het longlasting gedeelte betreft dat vind ik wel meevallen.  De lipsticks zijn uiteraard niet zo gepigmenteerd als bijvoorbeeld een Mac lipstick. Gezien de prijs mogen ze er zeker zijn, de kleur blijft redelijk goed zitten. Al met al een een goed product.

Today i'm doing a review on Essence longlasting lipstick in the colour 08 Colour crush. Essence has come out with new products lately,  one them are the longlasting lipsticks.  I was very curious about the new lipsticks because the old Essence lipsticks weren't that apealing to me. The colours were very outdated.

But not any longer Essence lipsticks are very on trend now. The colour i have reminds me a bit of Viva glam Nikki by Mac. The colour is not that bold, in fact it's a wearable bright pink. As for the longlasting factor it's a good lipstick but certainly not longlasting. The lipstick stays on for a while but not for hours.

Great lipstick compared to the price. There are nine other colours available too.
