N.O.T.D. In the mood for Nude

De zomer is min of meer voorbij, dit merk ik als ik een lakje uitzoek om mijn nagels te lakken. Automatisch ga ik aan de vrolijke kleuren voorbij en kies ik voor een mooie naturel kleur. De afgelopen maanden heb ik alleen vrolijke of felle kleuren op mijn nagels gehad.

Om de herfst in te luiden heb ik voor Nude it van Essence gekozen. Een taupe-achtige naturelkleur, heel erg mooi. Ik heb twee lagen opgedaan voor een mooie dekking. Kwalitatief zijn de nagellakken van Essence echt een hele goede koop.

Now that summer is almost over i find myself looking at the less bright nailpolishcolours. Almost automatica my eyes are searching for the more naturel colours.

Today i've chosen Nude it from Essence. A beautiful somewhat taupe nude. I put on two coats for a beautiful opaque coverage. To me Essence nailpolish are the best of the drugstore nailpolishes.

Olaz Total effects 7 in one

Een paar maanden geleden had Kruidvat een leuke aanbieding, Olaz total effects 7 in one voor
€ 9,95. Normaal kost deze créme €19,95. Omdat ik bijna door mijn serum heen was dacht ik, laat ik een keer iets van een drugstore merk aanschaffen. Het merk Olaz is best bekend, wie kent de anti age-ing reclames niet, en ik weet dat vele jaren geleden de crémes van Olaz als beste uit de bus kwamen. Dus wat hield me tegen?

Olaz Total Effects is een dagcréme en serum in één die in totaal zeven tekenen van veroudering tegengaat. Hier volgt het lijstje:
1 Fijne lijntjes en rimpeltjes worden zichtbaar vermindert
2 Hydratatie voor een zichtbaar stevige huid
3 Reduceert de zichtbaarheid van porién
4 Vermindert zichtbaar ouderdomsvlekken
5 Maakt de huidtextuur egaal
6 Hydratatie voor de droge huid
7 Geeft de huid een zichtbaar gezonde uitstraling.

Ik heb Olaz Total Effects zeker één maand gebruikt maar helaas ben ik niet echt enthousiast. De créme hydrateert niet genoeg waardoor mijn huid dof werd.Tevens heb ik  geen vermindering van pigmentvlekken geconstateerd, of een zichtbare verjonging (alhoewel ik niet echt rimpels heb) of versteviging. Als je huid echt vocht te kort komt dan zou ik zeker voor een andere créme / serum gaan. Dit produkt is bestemd voor vrouwen in de leeftijd van 35 en hoger, over het algemeen hebben de meeste vrouwen uit die leeftijdscategorie een drogere huid (een enkele uitzondering daarbuiten gelaten) dus wat mij betreft had deze créme/serum wel voedender mogen zijn.

A few months ago a bought a new skincare product at the drugstore. Olaz 7 effects in one wich is an anti ageing cream and serum in one. I had just finished my serum and thought i would give this a try.

Olaz Total Effects is a daycream and serum in one, that counteracts the seven signs of ageing skin:
*fine lines and wrinkles are visably reduced
*hydration to  firm the skin
*the visibilaty of large pores will be reduced
*reduces age spots
*smooths the skin texture
*hydration for dry skin
*gives the skin a healthy glow

After i have used it for one month, i can truly say that this product does nothing for my skin. My skin feels dry and totally not moisturized. My skin looks very dull and not healthy at all. Age spots are still visible and i haven't noticed an extra firmness of the skin. This product is intended for the agegroup 35 plus and up. Most women in that age category have dry skin (there are exceptions i know). that's why i expected this product to hydrate my skin.Too bad it didn't.  If you're in need of a good moisturizer,i certainly would not recommend Olaz Total Effects.

Review: Vaseline Spray & Go body moisturizer (aloe fresh)

Eind vorige maand heb ik een flacon van Vaseline Spray and Go in mijn Beautybox ontvangen. Natuurlijk was ik hier blij mee want ik had er al veel over gehoord, (Youtube en div. beautyblogs) daarom wilde ik dit produkt eens proberen.  Normaal gesproken gebruik ik al de bodylotion van Vaseline mijn huid is zomer en winter erg droog daarom heb ik altijd een bodylotion nodig. Met een gewone fles bodylotion (zonder pompje) wil ik nog wel een teveel gebruiken, een sprayflacon leek me daarom ook ideaal.

Ik heb de Vaseline Spray & Go ( Aloe fresh) nu een paar dagen gebruikt en ik ben er best tevreden over. Erg handig om gericht te sprayen zo voorkom je dikke klodders bodylotion, die moeilijk uit te smeren zijn. Het produkt is erg fijn er komt precies genoeg uit de spray en het is ook heel makkelijk te verdelen over de huid. Mijn probleem is, door mijn erg droge huid, dat ik dit in de winter niet kan gebruiken. 's Winters is mijn huid nog drogen dan heb ik echt een volle lotion nodig. Dat is wel jammer maar voorlopig kan ik hiermee wel vooruit.

De Spray & Go body moisturizer smeert heel goed uit en laat geen film na op de huid. En de geur is echt heerlijk, het ruikt lekker fris. Ik ben er heel tevreden mee.

My review about Vaseline Spray & Go body moisturizer. I received this product in my Beautybox of August, wich was a pleasant surprise. I already heard so much about this product through Youtube and other Beautybloggers, so i was really curious about it. I'm familiar with the Vaseline bodylotions (cocoa hmm delicious) as i use them daily. That's why i wanted to know how great this product exactly was.

I have been using it for a couple of days now and i can tell you that i'm quite positive about it. The product itself is light and very easy to apply. It doesn't leave a film on the skin and i love the fresh scent of it.  I love this spray, the only downside for me is, that i can't use it in winter. I need a richer bodylotion in winter, to moisturize my skin. But other than that, this is a great product.

N.O.T.D Green Hema nailpolish/Hema nagellak in de kleur groen

Mijn N.O.T.D vandaag is een frisse groene kleur van de Hema. De lak is van goede kwaliteit en is makkelijk aan te brengen. Ik heb twee lagen aangebracht, het fijne is dat de lak niet streperig wordt. Er zit een heel klein beetje glans in de lak, dit zorgt voor een mooi effect. Dit wordt mijn favoriete groene kleur. Het nummer is 841.

Today i'm wearing a nailpolish in a fresh green colour. It's from the brand Hema, Hema is a wellknown warehouse in Holland. I love the quality, the polish is easy to apply. It's also non streaky. This nailpolish has a bit of a sheen wich looks very pretty. I'm wearing two coats. This is going to be my favourite Green nailpolish. The number of the nailpolish is 841.

Essence long lasting lipstick

Vandaag review ik èèn van de Essence longlasting lipsticks. Deze lipsticks liggen alweer een paar weken in de winkel en ze zijn onderdeel van een aantal nieuwe producten die door  Essence uitgebracht zijn.

Ik heb er èèn gekocht een mooie felroze kleur die me een beetje aan de Viva glam Nikki doet denken. De kleur is 08 Colour crush een kleur die echt mooi staat. Het is vrij fel maar toch draagbaar. Er zijn in totaal 10 verschillende kleuren en ik denk dat ik er nog een paar ga kopen.

Wat het longlasting gedeelte betreft dat vind ik wel meevallen.  De lipsticks zijn uiteraard niet zo gepigmenteerd als bijvoorbeeld een Mac lipstick. Gezien de prijs mogen ze er zeker zijn, de kleur blijft redelijk goed zitten. Al met al een een goed product.

Today i'm doing a review on Essence longlasting lipstick in the colour 08 Colour crush. Essence has come out with new products lately,  one them are the longlasting lipsticks.  I was very curious about the new lipsticks because the old Essence lipsticks weren't that apealing to me. The colours were very outdated.

But not any longer Essence lipsticks are very on trend now. The colour i have reminds me a bit of Viva glam Nikki by Mac. The colour is not that bold, in fact it's a wearable bright pink. As for the longlasting factor it's a good lipstick but certainly not longlasting. The lipstick stays on for a while but not for hours.

Great lipstick compared to the price. There are nine other colours available too.

Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lipbalm

Pure shine color lipbalm. Catrice heeft heel wat nieuwe producten de laatste tijd, dit is èèn van die producten. Een handige lipbalm met een kleurtje. De kleur is meer een "sheen" oftewel een vleugje kleur. Als lipbalm werkt het erg goed het produkt verzacht mijn lippen meteen.  Zelf had ik wel wat meer kleur verwacht dus dat is wel een minpuntje. Het kan ook aan mijn kleurkeuze liggen, mijn keuze viel op I don't red it een rode kleur. Ik kan me voorstellen dat een lichtere kleur een mooier effect zal hebben. Mijn lippen zijn gepigmenteerd en dat waasje van rood staat er niet zo mooi bij. Maar ik heb de oplossing gevonden, ik draag hem over een matte rode lipstick voor wat extra glans.

Een goede lippenbalsem met een handig draaisysteem. Dit product is in meerderekkleuren verkrijgbaar.

Pure shine colour lipbalm. Catrice has come out with quite some new products lately. One of the products is this coloured lipbalm. As a lipbalm it works perfect it instantly soothens and moisturizes my lips. As for the colour i'm not that happy about it, it's nothing more than a sheen on my lips. I have very pigmented lips and i don't like how the colur looks on my lips. Could be my choice of colour though, i chose I don't red it  a red colour.  I can imagine that a softer colour would look so much better. No problem i can use it on top of a matte red lipstick.

Great lipbalm with a turn up system, no sharpner needed. Pure shine colour lipbalm has a range of eight different colours.

N.O.T.D. Essence Prom-berry

Vandaag een lakje van Essence, een prachtige najaars- en winterkleur. Het heet plumberry en de kleur is echt gruwelijk mooi. De kleur kan ik het beste omschrijven als paars met een rode ondertoon, een prachtige auberginekleur. Dit is echt een kleur die je bij een merk als Dior zou verwachten maar nu is het voor €1.95 te koop bij het kruidvat. Ik heb twee  lagen aangebracht om dit resultaat te krijgen.

I found the most amazing fall/winter nailpolish colour. It's one of the newest colours by Essence. Prom-berry is a beautiful reddish purple. This a colour i would expect Dior to come out with. Very classy and stylish, well done Essence. This is my 2013 fall favourite.

I applied two coats to get a beautiful result.

Catrice Glamazona lipcolour pencils

Ik wil jullie nog even attenderen op twee lip colour pennen uit de Glamazona  LE van Catrice.  Deze collectie ligt al even in de winkels en ik keek er min of meer overheen. Totdat ik een foto van Debbie (beautyscene) op instagram zag met mooie rode lippen. Het bleek dus dat zij één van lip colour pennen op had gedaan.

Gelukkig waren de pennen nog voorradig, overigens de meeste artikelen van deze serie zijn nog verkrijgbaar. Ik heb de rode I'm a survivor en de roze I got the flower!. Dit zijn echt pennen van goede kwaliteit dat wil zeggen de pigmentatie is heel goed. De pennen kosten € 4, 99 per stuk. Als je interesse hebt dan wil ik je aanraden snel naar de winkel te gaan.

I'm into bold lip colours lately. I used to be a nude lipstick lover but not so much lately. A couple of days ago i spotted a beautiful lipcolour on instagram. It turned to be a lip colour pencil from the Catrice LE Glamazona. This LE has been in stores for a couple of weeks. I didn't pay much attention to it and i'm glad someone pointed it out.

Needless to stay that i went shopping and i bought the two lippencils from the collection. The red one is called I'm a survivor and the pink one is I got the flower! Both pencils are very pigmented, look at the swatches.  This LE is still available in drugstores. The price is €4,99 each.

Catrice kohl kajal pencil

Vandaag laat ik jullie weer een budgetprodukt van Catrice zien. Ik kwam dit mooie kohlpencil tegen. Het is in de kleur donkergroen en het heet I have a green!  Een mooie kleur en erg goed gepigmenteerd om met diverse eyelooks te combineren. Je kunt het voor ongeveer twee euro bij het Kruidvat halen.

Todays budgetproduct is a kohlkajal pencil by Catrice. It's in a beautiful deepgreen colour and it's called I have a green! . The pencil is very pigmented and perfect to combine with different eyelooks. The price is around two euro.

Todays nailart

My nailart of today. As a basecolour i used Opi Lady in black. To make the flowers i used a toothpick and yellow and pink nailpolish. For the leaves i used little dots in green. On top of that i applied a topcoat with tiny glitters. I hope you like it, leave me a comment.

Catrice Mattifying oil control paper

Het merk Catrice heeft heel wat leuke makeup spullen. Zo vond ik tijdens mijn zoektocht naar betaalbare artikelen,  deze papiertjes om mijn glimmende neus te matteren. Reuzehandig zoiets en het zit in een stevige kunstoffen verpakking. Altijd handig om in mijn toilettas te hebben. De prijs ligt rond twee euro.

I love to stroll around the drugstore in search for affordable makeup items. Recently i found this Mattifying oil control paper by Catrice. Very to carry in your purse to control the shine. What i like about this item is that it comes in a solid plastic cover. The price is around two euro.

Catrice Better than false lashes

Mascara je hebt er zoveel verschillende, dat je soms door de bomen het bos niet ziet. Voor mij is het altijd weer spannend om een nieuwe mascara uit te kiezen. Doet het produkt ook wat het beloofd? Of koop ik een kat in de zak.

Vandaag doe ik een review over de Better than false lashes mascara van Catrice. Bij het horen van de naam stijgen mijn verwachtingen Ik denk dan aan mooie volle en lange wimpers. Vol goed hoop ben ik met het testen begonnen. Het eerste wat me opviel is dat produkt vrij dun is, het voordeel hiervan is dat de mascara niet klontert. Ook zorgde deze mascara ervoor dat mijn wimpers mooi lang werden. Helaas gaf het geen volume aan mijn wimpers. En dat is jammer want ik verwacht volume en lengte van een mascara.

Nou gebruik ik geen zware oogmakeup dus kan ik wel uit de voeten met deze mascara. Maar bij een avondlook zou ik echt voor een andere mascara kiezen. Wat me ook opviel is dat in de loop van de dag ging vlekken, dit gebeurde alleen als ik het ook op mijn onderste wimpers had aangebracht. Mijn conclusie: ik zou deze mascara alleen kopen als je van jezelf volle wimpers hebt die aan lengte te kort kort komen.

Today's review is about a mascara from the brand Catrice. It's called Better than false lashes. The name alone gives me high hopes about this mascara. I'm thinking about fuller and longer lashes. Needless to stay that i started with high hopes. The first thing that striked me was,that product itself is very thin. The positive thing about that is that the mascara doesn't clump. It also gives you beautiful long lashes. Too bad it doesn't add volume to my lashes.

I can make this mascara work because i don't wear heavy eyemakeup. For an evening out i would definitly go for another mascara, that does add volume. Another thing that striked me was that during the day, the mascara began to stain. But only if i applied it on my bottomlashes too. My advice: this mascara works great when you already have fuller lashes. If not you better choose another, that does give you volume.

Mac Veluxe Smokeluxe

Ik ben altijd blij als ik een bestelling binnen krijg. Afgelopen zaterdag was het weer zover mijn bestelling werd bezorgd. Mijn bestelling was de Smokeluxe palette uit de LE Veluxe van Mac.

Mooie kleuren in èèn doosje, vijf kleuren om precies te zijn. De bovenste is licht beige highlight kleur. De tweede kleur is een prachtig koperkleurige glitter oogschaduw. De derde kleur is een goud-zandbeige. De vierde kleur is een mooie zachtgrijze kleur met iets van een glitter. De laatste kleur is mat zwart. Supermooie kleuren bij elkaar, heel geschikt voor een mooie avondlook. De oogschaduws zijn zowel nat als droog aan te brengen. Het produkt is echt heel zacht net een creme oogschaduw.  Hieronder vind je de swatches.

I'm always happy when the postman delivers a package. Last saturday he brought me Mac's latest LE Veluxe in Smokeluxe. A very lovely eyeshadow palette that contains some pretty shimmer colours. I chose Smokeluxe because the palette had the most diverse colours of the 6 palettes. The top colour is a pretty beige, great for highlighting. The second is a copper shimmer. The third colour is a sandy gold with a bit shimmer. The fourth colour is a soft grey with a bith of shimmer. The last colour is a matte black. Colours that are perfect for an eveninglook.
