Catrice Absolut eye colour 640 Don't touch my Mosserati!

 

 

Vandaag stel ik jullie voor aan één van de Catrice Absolut eye colour mono's. Een mosgroene kleur Don't touch my Mosserati!  Ik heb deze oogschaduw al een tijdje in huis maar nog niet gebruikt. Behalve de kleur van de oogschaduw vind ik ook de verpakking van de oogschaduw mooi. Naar mijn mening toont de verpakking zich niet als een budgetverpakking. Zoals gezegd heb ik het nog niet gebruikt maar ik vond de kleur te mooi om het niet aan jullie te laten zien. Een hele mooie mosgroene kleur, echt een beauty hé.

Today i want to show you, this lovely Catrice eyeshadow. It's from the Absolut eye colour collection and the colour is Don't touch my Mosserati! I love this moss green colour, a colour i've been searching for for quite a while. I haven't tried it on yet, so i can't tell you if the quality is good. As soon a i used it you will hear more about it. For now, let's enjoy this beautiful colour.

Een paar maanden geleden heb ik de wenkbrauw gel van Catrice gekocht. De Gimme Brow van Bennefit staat al een tijdje op mijn verlanglijst maar in mijn woonplaats worden de producten van Bennefit niet verkocht. Gelukkig vond ik de browgel van Catrice in de winkel. 

Mijn wenkbrauwen zijn donker van kleur maar niet erg vol. Daarom vul ik ze in met een wenkbrauwpotlood, niet dagelijks, alleen als ik makeup draag. Deze eyebrow filler is erg geschikt voor de dagen dat ik geen makeup draag maar wel mijn wenkbrauwen wil accentueren. Ik heb het inmiddels al een paar keer gebruikt en ik ben er heel tevreden over. Het produkt blijft vrij lang zitten, zeker 6 uur lang, en het ziet er erg natuurlijk uit.

Ik gebruik het soms "los" dus zonder potlood maar soms ook in combinatie met een potlood. In combinatie met een wenkbrauw potlood geeft de gel een net iets vollere look. Soms heb ik van die "gaten" in mijn wenkbrauwen (uitval) waardoor het invullen met een potlood net iets té lijkt. In combinatie met de gel zien die "gaten" er net iets natuurlijker en gevulder uit.
De browgel bevat vezels waardoor de wenkbrauwen als het ware "opgevuld" worden.
Een goed en betaalbaar produkt van Catrice. Deze wenkbrauwgel is bij mijn drogist alleen in één kleur verkrijgbaar en dat is neutraal bruin. Volgens de site van Catrice is de kleur  voor elk wenkbrauw geschikt.

A couple of months ago i bought a browfiller by Catrice. Actually i wanted the Gimme Brow by Benefit but in my town i can't find Benefit products. So lucky i found the eyebrowfiller by Catrice, wich is affordable and it works really good.

 

My brows (and lashes) certainly aren't the fullest, from time to time i even have "gaps" in my brows. When i wear makeup i fill in my brows with a browpencil to make them look fuller. For the "non makeup" days i use my browfiller, it makes my brows look accentuated and natural. The product doesn't become clumpy and it stays on for at least six hours.

 

The eyebrow filler has vibers so it fills in the gaps in my brows. I love this product sometimes i even use it together with my browpencil. This combination makes my brows look so much fuller. The eyebrow filler is available in one colour only, a neutral brown. According to the site of Catrice this colour suits every skintone.





Lip Product Addict Tag

Favourite Balm / Treatment
My favourite lipbalm is Purol lipbalm. It nourishes my very dry lips thats why i use it. I use it for ten years (or more) now.



My other favourite lipbalm is the Eos lipbalm, my favourite is the one in the green packaging. The mint flavour feels wonderful on my lips.



Best eyecatching Red
I have two favourite red lipsticks a highend and a drugstore lipstick.
The drugstore lipstick is Kiss of Life by Rimmel London from the matte Kate Moss collection.  Actually this ís my favourite red lipstick. The product is not too dry and it stays on for quite a while.

 





My other favourite is Red by Mac. Mac has great lipsticks, i love thepigmentation. This red is strongly pigmented and it has a bit of shine.

 



Matte Red lips are georgeous.  Shiny Red lips are sexy.


Best luxury and best drugstore
I love my Lancome Rouge in love lipstick in the colour Coral. A great summer colour and the product feels so soft when i put it on.



Rimmel London makes the best drugstore lipsticks in my opinion. I love the great pigmentation and the overall quality. I have five lipstick by Rimmel London  and one gloss. I love all of them. Nyx is allso a great drugstore brand.



Best Mac lipstick
Rebel is my favourite Mac lipstick. I love the way it looks on me. The color and the quality are both great. Rebel was the first Mac Lipstick i ever bought and it still is one of my favourites.

 

 

The most disappointing?
A lipstick by Dior that i bought more than ten years ago. I wasn't disappointed in the lipstick itself but in the colour. When i bought the lipstick i thought the colour would look good on me. But it didn't, it was a neutral colour with a bit of shimmer in it.

Any lipstick that isn't strongly pigmented is always a disappointment to me.


Liner yes or no?
Yes i use a liner to colour my lips before i put on lipstick, not everytime though. I do this when the colour of the lipstick is too light or not that intense. I seldom use a liner to outline my lips (remember the 90's?). When i put on a nude i use a medium tone or light tone brown, to avoid that 90's look.


Best gloss?
I have two in this catagory. One is by Essence from the Stay with me line and it's called My favourite milkshake. This line is no longer available. Wich is a shame because the quality was great, the gloss made my lips feel very soft. The colour was a very soft milky pink. A perfect  colour for every day.

 



The butter glosses by Nyx. I have one wich i love very much, the name is Peaches and Cream. The colour is a mix between coral and pink, it's so perfect for summer. The pigmentation is great and this gloss is perfect.

 

 





Something extra!
this is a hard one, i have so many lipproducts i love. But i'm going to show you a lipstick i haven't used yet. Because it's not a colour i would wear everyday or a colour is would wear when going out. It is yet another Mac lipstick and it's called Heroine. A beautiful purple lipstick with a red undertone, this colour is definitely something else.

Vandaag wil ik je voorstellen aan nog een product van Florimar, een van hun oogschaduws.

Het is de Terra Cotta mono eyeshadow in de kleur, Kobaltblauw (E05) met parelmoer effect. Helaas heb ik het nog niet gebruikt, ik heb dus nog geen idee hoe de kwaliteit is, wat wel duidelijk is dat deze oogschaduw goed gepigmenteerd is.Voor de swatch heb ik ongeveer drie laagjes aangebracht. Je kunt de intensiteit dus zelf bepalen.

Het merk Flormar heb ik in het voorjaar ontdekt (er is een Flormar zaak in de Kalverstraat in Amsterdam) hun producten zien er professioneel en kleurrijk uit. Ik zou graag meerdere producten willen proberen maar op dit moment heb ik eigenlijk meer dan genoeg make up. Als dit anders was dan had ik wel het een en ander gekocht.

Flormar Terra cotta mono eyeshadow
Today i want to introduce you to another Flormar product, this time it's one of their eyeshadows. The Terra cotta mono eyeshadow in the colour E05 wich is a pearlescent cobalt blue. A very beautiful colour wich i haven't used yet, so i can't tell you about the quality. The pigmentation is good, you can intesify the colour by building up the product. For the swatch i applied three layers.

This spring i discovered the brand Flormar (they have a store in the Kalverstraat Amsterdam) and i love how professional and colourful their products look. I would love to buy more products but at the moment i have more than enough makeup. When there is room for new products i will certainly buy more Flormar makeup.

Flormar nailpolishes Swatches

Afgelopen weekeind was ik in Amsterdam, in de winkel van Flormar cosmetics heb ik wat nagellakjes gekocht. Flormar is een Turks cosmeticamerk. Ik had er eerder nog niet van gehoord totdat ik, een paar maanden geleden,  de winkel aan de Kalverstraat tegenkwam. Ik heb daar een oogschaduw gekocht en wat me opviel is dat dit merk echt hele mooie cosmeticaproducten verkoopt.

Van lipsticks tot nagellak en alles wat daartussen ligt. Mocht je naar Amsterdam gaan dan moet je zeker een bezoek brengen aan hun winkel. De producten zijn heel betaalbaar en divers.

De nagellakjes zijn goed geprijsd en van redelijk goede kwaliteit. Minpuntje is de naam supermatte op twee flesjes, die abosoluut geen matte lakjes blijken te zijn.

Last weekend i went to Amsterdam in the store of Flormar cosmetics, i bought a couple of nailpolishes. The brand Flormar is Turkish and i never heard of the brand, till a couple of months ago. I bouht my first Flormar eyeshadow in their shop at the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam.

Flormar has a wide range of affordable cosmetics. If you happen to be in Amsterdam, pay a visit to the store. I'm sure you're gonna love it.

The nailpolishes are affordable and the quality is reasonable. It is a bit strange that two of the polishes are named as "supermatte" but after applying it looks like any other cream nailpolish.

 

Dit is een matte nagellak in de kleur M05. Een prachtige zeeblauwe kleur. Het dekt ook goed, ik heb twee laagjes aangebracht.

 

A matte naipolish in the colour M05. A beautiful Teal. The polish is opaque only two coats were needed.

 

 

 

Dit is een fuchsia roze kleur (M118) echt prachtig. Wat heel opvallend is, is dat er op het flesje staat "Supermatte" maar de nagellak is helemaal niet mat. Het glanst gewoon dus mij is niet duidelijk waar de naam "Supermatte" voor staat. Maar niettemin een hele mooi kleur.

 

A beautiful fuchsia colour (M118). The bottle says "Supermatte" but this isn't a matte polish at all. Don't know what the label stands for but it sure isn't a matte polish.

 

 

 

Een mooie oranje rode nagellak (M113) ook deze lak draagt de naam "Supermatte". Ook dit lakje is niet mat maar glanzend. Wat ik vond tegenvallen is dat deze kleur niet zo goed dekt als de fuchsia roze.

 

This is a beautiful orange/red (M113). This bottle also has "Supermatte" written on it, but this one isn't a matte also. This colour isn't as opaque as the fuchsia one.

 

 

Deze kleur heet Turqoise Green een mooie zomerse kleur. Dit flesje heeft de naam Jelly Look maar in mijn ogen ziet het eruit als elke andere glans nagellak. Het aanbrengen gaat  wel wat streperig (de eerste laag) maar bij de tweede laag is dat weer verdwenen.

 

The name of this colour is Turqoise Green and that's just what it is. A beautiful colour for summer. This naipolish bottle has the label Jelly look but it looks like any other nailpolish to me. When applying the first coat, the polish comes of streaky. But that is totally gone after applying the second coat.

Purol Lippenstick is my favourite alltime lipbalm. I used it for 10 years now and it still is better than other brands. This lipbalm contains Spf 8 to protect your lips from Uva/Uvb.

 

It nourishes and protects and i  highly recommend this lipbalm. If you happen to see it in the drugstore, try it.

Vandaag heb ik mij laten inspireren door de WK. Vandaar dat ik oranje als basiskleur heb gebruikt en dit aangevuld met paars en brons. Ik wilde een draagbare maar opvallende eyelook creeëren. Volgens mij is dit wel gelukt.

 

Voor de look heb ik het Respect palette van Sleek (Aretha Orange) , It's Judytime palette (medium- darkbrown and copper), Naked basics van UD en midnight kiss no 34 (paars) van Sephora gebruikt.

Today's eyelook is inspired by the world cup soccer. The dutch teamcolour is orange that's why i chose orange for the eyelid. I wanted a look that would really standout but was wearable at the same time. I think it worked out just fine.

 

For this eyelook i used: Respect palette Sleek (Aretha orange), It's Judytime palette (medium- darkbrown and copper), Naked basics by UD (black/crave)  and midnight kiss (purple) no 34 by Sephora.

Voor de zomer begin ik een serie over mijn must have Beauty Essentials. Producten die ik vrijwel alleen in de zomer gebruik en waar ik heel tevreden over ben.

Het eerste product waar ik jullie kennis mee wil laten maken is Peachtwist een mooie terra kleurige blush. Er zit wat glans in (goudkleurige glans) en normaal hou ik daar niet van maar het voegt echt iets extra's toe. Het staat echt prachtig en ik vind dit echt een blush die vooral in de zomer heel mooi staat. Heb je een bruine of getinte huidskleur dan is dit de perfecte blush.

Dit was mijn eerste summer musthave, ik hoop dat je het leuk vindt. Laat me weten wat jou favoriete zomer beauty product is.

I am starting a new series about my summer essentials. Great products  i love to use during summer.

The first product i want to show you is a blush from Mac. The name is Peachtwist a beautiful earthy/peach toned blush. This blush has some gold shimmer in it and although i normally don't like shimmer, the shimmer adds something extra. I love the way it looks on my cheeks, it's my  favourite summer blush. Ladies of colour who are looking for a great blush, you should definitely try Peachtwist.

Today's N.o.t.d. is Bikini by Julie G. A beautiful Neon orange, so suitable for summer. Normally i'm not a fan of neon nails but this colour looks great on nails and toes. This colour  dries in an instant. Great for vacation or the beach.

Afgelopen week heb ik mijn bestelling van Jesse's Girl ontvangen. De cruise collection van Julie G. Julie G. is een youtube beauty guru die al een aantal nagellakjes heeft uitgebracht in samenwerking met Jesse's girl. Voor zover ik weet is deze lijn ook niet in Nederland te koop.

Ik ben al een tijdje subscriber van Julie G en zie haar nagellakjes regelmatig voorbij komen op youtube. De kleuren van deze Cruise collection spraken me aan, lekker zomers en fris, vandaar dat ik ze besteld heb. Ik heb ze online besteld via de website van Jesse's Girl. De lakjes zijn erg goedkoop met name als je ze in de US zelf koopt. Bestel je ze online dan moet je vaak ook invoerrechten betalen maar dat had ik wel voor over.Het duurde ongeveer 20 dagen voordat ik mijn bestelling kon ontvangen.

De lakjes zelf zijn van prima kwaliteit ze zijn niet streperig en de lak heeft de juiste dikte. Wat ik wel een nadeel vind is, dat het kwastje vrij klein is. Met een groter kwastje kun je de lak beter aanbrengen. Verder zijn het prima lakjes. Mocht je naar de states gaan en interesse hebben, je kunt ze bij Rite Aid kopen.

Last week my order, the Julie G cruise collection,  from the Jesse's girl website came in. I ordered the polishes directly from the website because you can't buy them in the stores overhere. After twenty day's my order came in, wich is very fast in my opinion.

I've learned about Julie G's nailpolishes throug her youtube channel, she did some promotion on her channel. That's how i got interested,  so interested that i decided to order online. The Cruise collection is a very summery collection, that's why she named it the "Cruise Collection" i guess.

The polishes are very easy to apply, they're not streaky and the polish itself is not too thick. The only improvent tip i have is about the small brush. The small brush makes it harder to apply the polish, especially when you have big nails like me. Overall i'm positivie about this collection. You can buy Julie G's nailpolishes at Rite Aid (in the US) and online through the website of Jesse's Girl.

Max Factor Wild Mega Volume Mascara

Vandaag een stukje over een mascara die ik een paar geleden heb gekocht. De Wild Mega Volume mascara van Max Factor. Na het de eerste keer gebruikt te hebben vond ik het al een succes. Het maakt mijn wimpers echt voller, het maakt ze niet langer. Ik ben er tevreden mee want mijn wimpers zijn vrij dun van nature. Voor de lengte zou ik eventueel een andere mascara kunnen gebruiken.

 

Deze mascara blijft de hele dag goed zitten. Zelf vind ik het borsteltje te dik voor mijn onderste wimpers. Mijn wimpers worden daar echt niet mooi door en het vlekt door de dikte van de borstel. Voor de foto heb ik mijn onderste wimpers wel aangezet met deze mascara. Daarna moest ik wel wat vlekjes wegwerken met een wattentip. Voor het gebruik strijk ik de borstel goed af langs de rand van de mascarahuls, zodat de mascara niet te dik wordt aangezet.

 

 

Een goed mascara voor als je niet al te volle wimpers hebt.

Wild Mega Volume Max Factor

Todays blogpos is about a mascara i bought a couple of weeks ago, the Wild Mega Volume mascara by Max Factor. I truly enjoy using this mascara, it makes my lashes look fuller. My lashes are so thin they need the fullness.

 

This mascara doesn't really add length but that's no problem i could use a lengthning mascara first. Normally i don't use it on my bottom lashes, for the pics i did,  to show you the full effect. I needed to clean up with a qtip afterwards, the brush is too thick for my tiny bottom lashes.

 

 

This is a great mascara if you're lashes are very thin. You will definitley benefit from the thickness it gives.
