Mijn favorieten/ My current favourites

Vandaag een stukje over mijn huidige favorieten. Het is een mix van voornamelijk makeup  en een paar huidverzorgingsprodukten. Sommige produkten heb je misschien al eerder voorbij zien komen maar dat is een teken dat ik het echt een goed produkt vind.


BB cream
Mijn favoriete BB cream is van Estee Lauder. Ik gebruik het bijna elke dag en het bevalt me nog steeds  erg goed. Deze BB cream is licht dekkend, het geeft mij een egale teint en het is een mooie basis voor make up. Een ander pluspunt is dat de Estee Lauder BB cream Spf 35 bevat, een goede bescherming tegen de werking van de zon.

Today my blogpost is about my current favourites. My favourites are a mixture of makeup en beautyitems. Some products you might have seen before on my blog, it's a sign that i really love this products.

My favorite BB cream is from Estee Lauder. I use it almost every day and i still enjoy using it. The Estee Lauder BB cream gives me an even complexion and it is a good base for my makeup. Another plus is, it contains Spf 35, to protect my skin from the sun.

Peeling
Mijn favoriete peeling is die van Ginvera de Green Tea Exfolating Marvel Gel. Ik ontving een proefje in mijn Glossybox van oktober en sinds die tijd ben ik eraan verslaafd. Echt waar. Het proefje heb ik geloof ik twee maanden gebruikt. Dit geeft ook meteen aan dat je van dit produkt echt heel weinig nodig hebt. Toen het op was heb ik meteen een fullsize besteld bij www.lumicara.com. Er was toen een aktie gaande, je kreeg er twee voor de prijs van een. Ik zit voorlopig goed.

Ik vind Green Tea Exfolating Marvel Gel zo goed omdat mijn huid er echt  heel schoon van wordt. Mijn huid voelt superzacht aan en ziet er heel fris uit.

Volgens de beschrijving zorgt de  Green Tea Exfolating Marvel Gel voor:
-het verwijderen van dode huidcellen vanuit de diepste lagen van je huid
-het verwijdert mee-eters, het zorgt ervoor dat grove porieën minder grof lijken
-het maakt zwarte vlekken lichter en maakt littekens minder zichtbaar
-het reguleert de talgafscheiding om zo puistjes te voorkomen
-het verzacht ruwe donkere plekken op de huid
-het verheldert een doffe teint
-het egaliseert de teint en geeft en geeft de huid een helder aanzien
-het zorgt voor de snellere opname van huidverzorgingsproducten.

My favourite peeling is from the brand Ginvera it's the Green Tea Exfolating Marvel Gel. I received a sample in my October Glossybox.  Since then i am truely addicted to this product. This peeling is the best, it gives me a clear and almost radiant complexion.

Wenkbrauwen/Brows
Voor mijn wenkbrauwen gebruik nu alleen mijn Anastasia Brow Pen. Het blijft de hele dag zitten. Dat was ook de reden waarom ik het kocht. Ik wilde een wenkbrauwpotlood dat niet vervaagde. Dit is echt een hele goeie wenkbrauwpen.

To accentuate my eyebrows i only use my Anastasia Brow Pen. This eyebrow pen has a long lasting formula, it keeps my brows throughout the day. I wanted an eyebrow pencil that wasn't going to fade during the day. The Anastasia Brow pen is a good and longlasting product.

Lipstick
Ik heb drie  favorieten de Rimmel matte lipstick (uit de Kate Moss serie) in 101. Een mooi zachtroze (ietwat mauve) kleur. Een mooie matte lipstick die niet droog aanvoelt. Ik draag dit al vanaf ik het gekocht heb, dat is  begin december, en ik ga het nog vaak opdoen.

De tweede favoriet is van Covergirl in de kleur Divine Divine. Een wat feller roze, misschien is het meer iets voor de zomer. Deze kleur staat ook mooi bij een mooie naturel make up. Ik hou normaal van de meer rustige natureltinten maar afgelopen jaar stonden de fellere/vrolijke tinten centraal.

Mijn derde en vrij recente favoriet is Mac's Viva Glam Nicki. Een lekkere felle kleur die ik regelmatig overdag draag. Omdat dit heel felle kleur is, dep ik de kleur op mijn lippen. Zo krijg ik een waas van de lipstick op mijn lippen. Hierdoor wordt deze lipstick draagbaar, dus ook voor overdag geschikt.

I have three favourites. First one is a matte Rimmel  lipstick, from the Kate Moss  line. It's  the colour 101, a beautiful soft pink (slightly mauve) colour. A beautiful matte lipstick that does'nt dry out my lips. I am using this lipstick since the month of December, i bought it in early December, and i still wear it on a regular base.

My second favorite is a lipstick by Covergirl in a shade called Divine Divine.  A brighter pink, maybe it's more a summer shade. This colour is also beautiful when you wear a natural eye makeup. I usually love the more natural shades but since last year, i learned to appreciate the (bold) pinks too.

My third and very recent favourite is Mac's Viva glam Nicki. This is a very bold pink colour that i do wear on a regular base. This is how i wear Viva glam Nicki, i pat the colour on my lips. This is makes it wearable for daytime, this way you only get a sheen of the colour on your lips.

Blush
Mijn favoriete blush is van Wet n Wild en het heet Heather Silk. Een sterk gepigmenteerde blush in een "Berry" kleur. Deze kleur staat lekker fris op mijn wangen. Ik denk dat deze kleur op elke huidskleur mooi staat.

My favourite blush is Heather Silk by Wet n Wild. A very pigmented blush in a berry colour. This  colour looks great on me and my guess is that this blush would look good on every skintone.

Mascara's

Op dit moment heb ik twee favoriete mascara's. De eerste is de Studio Lash van Miss Sporty (multi action incrediball). Ik zag hem het eerst op de blog van Vera Camilla. De vorm van het borsteltje sprak me aan, daarom heb ik het gekocht. Ik heb het één keer voor mijn bovenste wimpers gebruikt en het resultaat was wel aardig, niet super. Ik  gebruik het nu voor mijn onderste wimpers, doordat het borsteltje zo klein en rond is, is het heel erg geschikt voor de korte haartjes van mijn onderste wimpers.

De tweede mascara is van Max Factor de Masterpiece High Definition Mascara. Deze mascara gebruik ik al zeven maanden en ik ben er nog steeds tevreden over. Het verlengt mijn wimpers en maakt ze mooi vol. Ik blijf wel op zoek naar de perfecte mascara maar tot die tijd, is deze mascara het.

I have two favourite mascaras at the moment. The first one is the Studio Lash by Miss Sporty (multi action incrediball). I first read about Studio Lash on the site of Vera Camilla ( Dutch beautyblogger). I liked the shape of the brush it's round (like a ball) and very small. It's the perfect brush for my lower lashes, i can put on mascara and i don't have to be affraid of getting any mascara on my undereyes. I used this mascara, just once, for my upper lashes too but i was'nt impressed with the results.

Masterpiece High Definition Mascara by Max Factor is my favourite for the upper lashes. I've been using this mascara for seven months straight and i still love it. It lenghtens my lashes and it voluminizes without being clumpy. I'll always be in search for the perfect mascara but until then, this is the one.

Nagellak/ Nailpolish
2012 was een goed nagellak jaar. Ik heb veel nagellak gekocht voornamelijk van Essence en Essie. Essie is  mijn ontdekking van 2012 op nagellak gebied, daardoor heb ik een aardig voorraadje nagellak aangelegd. Toch heb ik maar twee favorieten. Het zijn er eigenlijk meer, maar ik heb het aantal teruggebracht naar twee.

De eerste is Fiji van Essie. Een mooie bleekroze  pastelkleur, heel mooi en erg sereen. Mijn mening is dat je zo'n kleur alleen kan opdoen als het van Essie is. Essie nagellak is gewoon super, het droogt supersnel en je krijgt geen dikke laag die je af kunt pellen. Fiji is mijn favoriet van Essie.

De tweede nagellak is van Essence en heet Date in the moonlight een prachtige marineblauwe kleur met superkleine glitters erin. Het heeft iets van een jeanskleur vind ik én het past overal bij.

2012 was a good year for purchasing nailpolish. I have purchased many nailpolishes, mainly from Essence but also from Essie. Thanks to Glossybox i discovered Essie nailpolishes.  Yet I have only two favorites, actually more but i had to reduce my picks. The first one is from Essie and it's called Fiji. A beautiful pale pink pastel, super nice and very serene. My opinion is, that a color like this, can only apply evenly if it's from Essie. Essie nailpolishes are just super, they dry fast and they're not too thick. Fiji is my favourite naipolish by Essie.

The second one is called "Date in the moonlight",  it's from the brand Essence, a beautiful navyblue color with tiny glitters in it. It looks like the colour of a dark bluejeans. Essence has affordable nailpolishes with a decent quality.

Primer
In Los Angeles heb ik deze drie proefjes van Tarte gekocht. Het zijn twee primers en één oogschaduw primer. De oogschaduw primer (witte tube)  gebruik ik het meest van de drie, het geeft een mooi matte basis. Mijn oogschaduw blijft echt de hele dag goed zitten. De clean slate poreless primer heb ik ook regelmatig gebruikt en daar ben ik ook tevreden over.

Doordat ik in december de Porefessional van Benefit heb gekocht heb ik de primer van Tarte even opzij gelegd. Helaas is (volgens mijn informatie) het merk Tarte niet verkrijgbaar bij Sephora in Nederland. Dus mocht ik dit jaar nog in LA komen dan zal ik zeker een paar full size verpakkingen kopen.

Primer
While i was in LA i bought a set of three primers (testers) from Tarte. The set contained two primers and one eyeshadowprimer. I use the eyeshadow primer (white tube) everyday and i'm very content with it. My eyeshadow stays on the whole day, even the not so pigmented ones. The face primer (purple tube) Clean slate poreless is my favourite. It leaves a smooth film on my face it's a perfect base for foundation or a BB cream. 

At the moment i am using Porefessional from Bennefit, i bought a full size while i was in London. Compared with the Tarte primer, i think the Porefessional isn't as good as the Clean slate poreless. It is still a great primer that i will repurchase. When i'm back in the States i will definitley buy a full size of the Clean slate poreless from Tarte. I don't think that Tarte cosmetics are available in Holland.

Highlighter
Mijn favoriete highlighter is er een die ik bijna dagelijks gebruik, de Lumi magique van L'oreal. Het is eigenlijk een primer zo staat ook op de verpakking aangegeven. Toch schijnt dit produkt het beste te werken als highlighter. Je kunt Lumi magique ook mengen met je BB creme of foundation, dit zorgt voor een mooie glans.

Nadat ik mijn BB creme heb aangebracht, doe ik wat stipjes (een stuk of drie) op mijn jukbeenderen en wat rest breng ik aan op mijn neusbrug en cupidoboog. Het produkt  vervaag ik  door eerst met mijn vingers licht kloppende bewegingen te maken en daarna ga ik nog even licht met de kabuki kwast eroverheen. Dit geeft een natuurlijk uitziende glans op de genoemde plekken.

My favourite highlighter is the Lumi magique from L'oreal, i use it almost every day. The Lumi magique is sold as a primer but it somehow works better as a highlighter. For a radiant look, you can mix a little with your BB cream or foundation.

This is how i use the Lumi magique, i put  three small dots on my cheakbones, with what's left i light up the bridge of my nose and highlight under my brows. I gently pat the product onto the skin and after that i'll blend it in with a kabuki brush. This gives a natural glow on my cheakbones, bridge of the nose and under my eyebrows.

Lancome Rouge in Love lipstick

Ik wil jullie mijn nieuwe Lancome lipstick laten zien. Vorige week gekocht, het is een verjaardagskado aan mezelf. Ik wilde mezelf eens verrassen. Dit is een lipstick uit de Rouge in love lijn. Ik kende de Rouge in Love lijn van Lancome nog niet. Volgens de display in de winkel is dit een nieuwe lijn.

Last week i bought a new Lancome lipstick, i bought this as a birthdaygift to myself. I needed to pamper myself. The lipstick is from the Rouge in Love line. This was the first time i've heard about this line. According to the display in the store, this is a new line.

Op de display zag ik twee lipsticks die ik wel heel mooi vond, de een was een nude de ander een koraalkleurige lipstick. Twijfel, twijfel want ik ben al een tijdje op zoek naar een mooie nude lipstick. Uiteindelijk heeft de koraalkleur gewonnen van het neutrale. De kleur die ik gekozen heb is Corail in love (322M). De lipstick zit in een mooie zilverkleurige verpakking en de lipstick zelf heeft een mat zilveren huls. Erg chic.



I noticed two lipsticks from the display, one was a nude and the other one was a coral. I was in doubt, because i'm in search for a good nude lipstick for a while now. Somehow i decided to go for the Coral, the nude will have to wait. The colour i've chosen is Corail in love (322M). A very fresh looking spring/summer colour. The lipstick itself has a great design, a matte silver holder, very compact and very classy looking.

Ik ben blij dat ik  Corail in love heb gekozen want ik heb deze kleur, vanaf mijn aankoop, elke dag op gehad.  De lipstick voelt lekker zacht en licht aan en is heel goed gepigmenteerd. Precies zoals op de verpakking is aangegeven. Dit is echt een voorjaars en zomers kleurtje dat bij de meeste van mijn eyelooks past. 

Choosing Corail in love was a very good decision, i've been wearing this lipstick ever since i bought it. I love the texture, the lipstick feels very soft and light and it's very pigmented too. This is the perfect spring/summer colour and it goes with most of my eyelooks.

N.O.T.D. royal orange

Todays notd is about a beautiful orange by Miss Sporty. The number is 2169. A beautiful orange wich reminds me of "fierce and tangy" a Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadow.

N.O.T.D. Butter London Tea with the Queen/ Miss Sporty

Twee vliegen in één klap vandaag. Een lakje van Butter London en een van Miss Sporty. Ik begin met de lak van Butter London.

Mijn allereerste nagellak van Butter London. De naam is Tea with the Queen, heel toepasselijk in deze periode. Het is een echte "nude" dus vleeskleurig. Een kleur die ik ook goed kan dragen, het is lang geleden dat ik een 'nude" op mijn nagels heb gehad. De kwaliteit van de lak is zeer goed, de lak is dun van substantie maar droogt erg snel. Het is niet streperig maar je hebt wel drie lagen nodig voor een mooi resultaat. Mocht je ook een lakje van Butter London willen proberen, www.boozyshop.nl verkoopt dit merk nu met korting.

My very first Butter London laquer and the name is Tea with  the Queen. It is a real nude and it's very beautiful nude. It 's been ages ago when i last wore a nude, i totally switched over to the bold colours.  I must wear neutrals more often. I like the quality of this nailpolish. The substance is thin but  fast drying. This polish doesn't goes on streaky, but you do need three coats to get a beautiful result. Het volgende lakje is van Miss Sporty nummer 464. Dit is een grasgroene kleur en niet zeegroen zoals uit de foto lijkt. Helaas kan ik de echte kleur niet goed vastleggen. Ik heb ook buiten een foto gemaakt maar de juiste kleur kreeg ik niet vastgelegd. Dus ga ff naar de Etos om dit lakje te bekijken. Ook dit is een goed dekkende nagellak, twee lagen was voldoende voor een mooi resultaat.

My next polish is from Miss Sporty number 464. This is a green colour (green as the grass) and no Teal, as the pics want you to believe. I can't seem to photograph the real colour. I took a pic outside too but the result wasn't any better. Believe me it is a true green, check it out at your local drugstore. This polish also has a good quality. I put on two coats of the polish and the result is beautiful.

Oranje make-up en nagellak voor 30 april (there's an englisch version too)

Het is bijna 30 april en wat doen we aan? En ,misschien nog belangrijker, hoe doen we onze makeup? Ik heb even rondgekeken in mijn nagellak en make-up voorraad. Oranje is niet echt een kleur die ik vaak gebruik maar het is me toch gelukt met het een en ander te komen.

April the 30th is a national day in Holland. Each year we celebrate our Queens birthday. This year it will be diffrent because The Queen's  son Willem Alexander will be crowned King. So this year April 30th is a very special day. Especially for this festive day i went to my makeup stash, to search for some orange nailpolish and makeup. Why orange? Orange is the national colour. At every national event Dutch people dress up in orange to show their love for their country (and their Royals).

Orange isn't a colour i wear on a daily basis, but i still managed to come up with some orange items.

Dit heb ik gevonden: drie oranje (achtige) kleuren nagellak, één oogschaduw duo van NYC en één lipstick van Catrice.

Wet n wild Heatwave een oranje (achtige) kleur. Heel fris, ik weet dat Wet n Wild niet in de winkels te koop is in Nederland maar het ging mij om het idee. Een kleur zoals dit kan ook best op 30 april.

Wet n Wild Heatwave is more an orange-like colour. Very summery and cheerful. In Holland we can't buy Wet n Wild in the stores. I just wanted to show you that a colour like this, is also possible on April 30th.

Een wat meer flashy licht metallic oranje nagellak, van de Hema. Het nummer is 84.

This is a flashy slightly metalic orange, i's from Hema. The number is 84.

Een lekker fel oranje lipstick van Catrice Oh Juicy!. Echt een mooie oranje kleur en nog betaalbaar ook.

A bold orange lipstick from Catrice Oh Juicy!. I love this colour and it has an affordable price too.

Een leuk setje van NYC en het heet Upper Zest Side (810B). Een mooie, meer naar een aardetint neigend oranje en een zacht gele kleur. De kleur geel kan je als highlighter gebruiken en het oranje kun je op het ooglid doen met eventueel wat bruin voor de diepte. Met een beetje fantasie is hier iets moois van te maken.

A nice little duo from NYC and it's called Upper Zest Side (810B). A beautiful more earthy orange and a soft yellow colour. The yellow can be used as a highlighter, the orange on the lid and maybe some brown for depth. Just let your imagination run and i'm sure you will come up with something beautiful.

Helaas gaat Sephora  alle filialen in Nederland sluiten. Dit is nu al een tijdje bekend, alle Sephora filialen gaan over in Ici Paris. Dit gaat (volgens mijn informatie) in week 21 gebeuren. Ik en de rest van makeup kopend Nederland, vinden dit heel erg jammer.

Natuurlijk heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de speciale akties bij Sephora. Eind maart heb ik 2 Urban Decay Naked paletten gehaald.De Naked Basics en de Naked 2. Ik wilde al heel lang een Naked palette maar ik tot nu toe kwam het er niet van. Ik ben helemaal overbluft door de kwaliteit van deze paletten. Goede pigmentatie, de poederoogschaduw is lekker zacht net crémeoogshaduw. De mogelijkheden met beide paletten zijn oneindig. Ik ga hier heel veel plezier aan beleven .

Over beide paletten is natuurlijk al veel gezegd en geschreven. Dus wat zou ik hieraan moeten toevoegen? Mocht je beide paletten of één van deze paletten willen, dan zou ik opschieten want ik denk dat Sephora de afgelopen weken zowat leeggekocht is.

Door de goede kwaliteit van de Naked paletten heb ik me laten verleiden om ook een paar losse Urban Decay oogschaduws te kopen. Ik heb ze voor bogho (50% korting op het 2e artikel) prijzen gekocht. Dus dat was echt een meevaller. Ik heb gekozen voor kleuren die ik normaal niet zo snel zou aanschaffen. De kleuren die ik heb gekozen zijn meer geschikt voor een avondlook. En ik kreeg er ook nog een leuk blikken paletje bij.

Mijn favoriete concealer is  Erase Paste van Benefit daarvan heb ik maar vast een backup ingeslagen. Als ik door mijn huidige potje heen ben én door mijn  back up, zal ik toch op zoek moeten naar een soortgelijke concealer. Jammer maar helaas en waarschijnlijk kan ik als ik eens in London ben, Erase Paste ook kopen. Dat was het dan mijn afscheid van Sephora, ik ben er nog steeds een beetje verdrietig om.

Too bad, Sephora is leaving Holland, all the stores are closing. This is known for a couple of weeks now, Ici Paris will take over all the Sephora stores. To my information this will happen in week 21.  Myself and the rest of the makup buying population in Holland, are (needless to say) very sad.

Because of this, everything was Bogho (by one get one half off) at Sephora, and i took adventage of that. I've been wanting to buy one of the Naked palettes ever since the first one came out. Well i took my chance and bought the Naked 2 and the and the Naked basics. Both pallets impressed me with their high quality eyeshadows, very pigmented and very creamy.

The possibilities with both palets just don't end. I'm very content with both of them. Because of the high quality of the UD eyeshadows i decided to buy some loose eyeshadows too. I went for colours i normally wouldn't buy that quick. The colours i bought are more suitable for an evening look. Again the pigmentation is very good and i got a nice tin palet with my purchase.

I bought a back up for my Erase paste by Benefit. I'll have to find an concealer thats works as good as the Erase paste.  Maybe i'll  have to wait till i'm in London to buy some Benefit products. So far my last purchases at Sephora. Although i'm happy with my purchases, i'm still a little sad about them leaving the Netherlands.

**Etos Metallic eyepencil en nieuwe lakjes /Etos Metallic eyepencil and new nailpolishes***

Etos Metallic Eyepencils
Van het weekeinde heb ik twee Metallic Eyepencils van Etos gekocht. Ik zag de post van Etos op facebook voorbij komen en ik dacht meteen, die zien er leuk uit. Bij mijn Etos lagen vier verschillende kleuren. Ik heb gekozen voor de paarse en de zilveren, er lagen ook nog een frisgroene- en een aquakleur.

De pennen zijn slank van formaat met een draaisysteem om de punt naar boven te halen.  Aan de achterzijde zit een applicator, om de kleur te vervagen. De applicator kun je loshalen om zo de puntenslijper te kunnen gebruiken. Het produkt is zacht maar stevig genoeg om een strakke lijn te trekken.

Deze eyeliners zijn waterproof en longlasting. Ik heb ze nog niet rond mijn ogen gebruikt maar ik heb de eyelinerpennen wel aan de binnenkant van mijn arm getest. De aangebrachte lijn  is goed zichtbaar en blijft goed zitten. Ook toen ik er, na een minuut of tien, overheen wreef. Dat is een goed teken, deze eyeliner zal waarschijnlijk niet uitlopen.

Dit zijn betaalbare eyelinerpennen, ze kosten rond de € 3,50. (Ik ben superslecht in het bewaren van bonnen) Leuke eyelinerpencils om je eyelook (feestelijk) te accentueren.

My blogpost today will be about eyeliners and nailpolish. Starting with the eyeliners i bought two Etos Metallic Eyepencils. I saw a post about the pencils on facebook, wich got me interested. Last friday i went to Etos drugstore and bought a silver and a purple eyelinerpencil. They had four colours, the other two colours were a limegreen and a teal.

The pencils have a slim design and you need to turn it to get the pencil out. On the end of the pencil there is an applicator, wich can be detached.  When it's detached you'll find a sharpner at the other side. The pencil itself is smooth but firm enough to draw a straight line.

These eyeliners are waterproof and longlasting,  i haven't tested them on my eyes yet. But i did a test on my arm. The line i drawed was smude proof even after i rubbed over it. That is a good sign it means that this eyeliner won't smudge.

The Etos Metallic Eyelinerpencils cost about € 3,50. I'm sorry but i'm not good in keeping the receipts. These eyelinerpencils are great to accentuate your eyelook.

Nieuwe lakjes/ New polishes

Miss Sporty heeft betaalbare nagellak in leuke kleuren vind ik. Meestal ga ik voor de vrolijke/fellere kleuren. Dit keer vond ik een mooie "Taupe" kleur uit de Lasting colour serie. Een chique kleur en ik kon het niet laten staan. Deze lak dekt goed, ik heb 2 laagjes op mijn nagels. Ik kon helaas geen naam of nummer op het flesje vinden.

Miss Sporty has affordable polishes in very nice colours. Normally i go for the more bright/bold colours that Miss Sporty has. This time i found a beautiful Taupe colour that's from the Lasting Colour series. In my opinion this a very sophisticated colour. This polish is quite opaque, i have two coats on. Too bad i couldn't find a name or number on the bottle.

OPI Suzi's hungary again

Een vrolijke kleur uit de Eurocentrale serie van Opi. Een mix van koraal en roze, deze kleur hoort echt bij de  lente/zomer. Een nagellak met een goede dekking, ik heb twee laagjes op mijn nagels gedaan.

This is a beautiful bright colour wich gives me that happy spring/summer feeling. This polish is from the Opi Eurocentrale series. A quite opaque polish, i have two coats on.

Miners

Deze nagellak heb in mijn beautybox van maart ontvangen. Een mooie aqua-blauwe kleur. Ik had nog nooit van het merk Miners gehoord en was erg verrast met deze mooie lak. De kleur heet  heel toepasselijk "Keepin it Teal". Jammer dat het groen-blauwe niet op de foto overkomt. Ik vind dit een hele mooie kleur en de kwaliteit van de nagellak is ook prima.

I received this in my beautybox of March. It is such a beautiful Teal colour from the brand Miners. I  had never heard of Miners before, but it was a pleasant acquaintance. The name of the colour is "Keeping it Teal". Too bad the picture doesn't do the colour justice, the green undertone is totally gone in the pic. A very good quality, two coats and no streaking.

Miss Sporty

Een mooie citroengele kleur van Miss Sporty. Lekker fris en erg voorjaar maar ik zou deze kleur eerder voor nailart gebruiken. Zoals je op de foto kunt zien, is deze lak streperig. Dat is wel jammer. Ook van dit lakje kon ik geen naam of nummer vinden.

Another Miss Sporty nailpolis in a yellow/lime colour. The colour screams spring, very bold and fruity. The problem with this colour is, that it's streaky. Two coats and it's still not opaque. I would only use this colour for nailart or for just one nail or two. I also couldn't find a name or number on the bottle.

Chitchat : nail art, make up etc.

Vandaag een chitchat over van alles en nog wat. Ik start met een "Nailart of the day" door de positieve weersvoorspelling (het wordt eindelijk zonniger) én de mooie tulpen, werd ik geïnspireerd om deze nailart te creëren. De nagellak die ik heb gebruikt is van Miss Sporty (geel) en de witte is van het huismerk van de Etos. Verder heb ik een zwarte striper gebruikt voor de strepen en de stipjes. De witte stipjes zijn met de witte nagellak gemaakt, met behulp van een tandenstoker..

De trend tegenwoordig is, nagellak of nailart  die niet op elkaar afgestemd is, liefst op elke nagel een ander motief. Alles hetzelfde (dit mag natuurlijk altijd) is een beetje uit. Op zich vind ik dit wel een leuke trend, ik hou wel van diversiteit. Vandaar deze combo, geel is voor mij een perfekte lentekleur (denk aan narcissen) en het zwart witte zorgt voor een leuk contrast. Ik hoop dat jullie dit ook een leuke combo vinden. Wat is jouw favoriete lentkekleur?

Today i'm chitchatting about nailart, makeup etcetera. I'll start my chitchat with an "Nailart of the day". The positive weatherforecast and the beautiful tulips inspired me to create this nailart. I used yellow (Miss Sporty) and white nailpolish (Etos). For the stripes and the dots i used a black striper. The white dots are made with the white nailpolis and a toothpick.

The new trend in nailpolish and nailart is to wear a diffrent colour/creation on each nail. No
unity but diversity. I like this trend,  the black and white stripes make a nice contrast with the yellow nailpolish.
